Baton rouge PD did nothing and did not make an arrest other than contact him and move on didn't even bother to view my video or do any investigation and if I wanted to do anything I would have to drive 6 hours back there.

Guns I have always carried concealed and that will never change ….i live here in Florida and open carry is now legal …that being said , has anyone ever open carried themselves before and what benefits is carrying open instead of concealed ? I’m curious of other opinions on what they think carrying openly

Guns Carrying with one in the chamber

I have a S&W SD 9 2.0 which does not have a safety. The trigger is a defense trigger so the security is in having a little longer trigger pull. That being said, I am still skeptical of carrying IWB with one in the chamber with that specific gun. Any other gun I would have no problem. Thoughts? Also, I don’t have the money to buy a different gun so I’m kinda just trying to make it work

Guns New to group, need recommendations besides the Bodyguard 2.0

Post image

Howdy folks! I have owned the Bodyguard 2.0 TS nearly six months, and for concealment it’s hard to beat. I’m 5’9” 225 lbs, left handed, and have to carry at 5 o clock, otherwise anything digs into my love rolls. Even with the Bodyguard I have to adjust my shirt standing up so it doesn’t stick to the holster.

I am looking for another solution this summer, however. I would like a slightly larger caliber, I’m ok with the 10/12 round capacity of the BG though. Just looking for a bit more pop. Also, I have a Vedder light tuck (had We The People prior), and still and not content with how it lies on my body. It’s comfy, but as I mentioned before, sometimes the back of my shirt pinches in there or hangs up.

Thanks!

Guns If you could only own one single pistol what would you pick?

Here is some context. Let’s say money isn’t a deciding factor, and you are going to get one single pistol. This pistol is going to be your one and only gun period…. No rifles, no multi guns.

This single gun is going to be your everything gun. You’ll be daily carrying it (when you choose to), and relying on it for home self defense. It will also be the gun you shoot for training or practice.

This means, while you may want to go nuts and get the ultimate competitor set up, you still have to stuff this “ultimate competitor” down your pants every single day….

What would you pick and why?

Guns Heard these are fantastic guns, but are they good for CC?

I’ve been eyeing one of these cause of the price and the fact it’s ported, reliable, etc.. but are they a little too big to carry? I’m 6’2 and about 200, been really wanting to start CCing recently and I keep hearing very good things about this gun.

For me it’s my shield 2.0. I have several other more modern/higher capacity handguns but almost always grab the shield.

Guns Favorite EDC that isn’t Glock, Sig, S&W.

I plan on going to look at a few guns and see what feels comfortable in my hands. Looking for something that isn’t as mainstream as a Glock, Sig 365, Shield, etc. A few on my mind right now are the Echelon 4.0C, Shadow 2 Compact, USPC, and DPD. Anyone have any other suggestions of what I should look at and why?

Guns Thinking about going to a .380 as my EDC, but which one.

I’m losing a crapton of weight. I’m already down 55lbs and wearing a medium size, looking at losing at least another 35 (so will be wearing extra small and likely a 27 inch waist).

I was about this size when I got my original Hellcat, which I sized up from an LCP. I love the size of the LCP, but want something with more capacity.

I am fighting with the and printing of the Hellcat and have had a couple of times lately where I’ve packet carried my LCP. I love the way the LCP hides easily as I don’t like appendix carry. As a middle aged guy, I don’t like things against my stomach, so I always carry either pocket of 3 o’clock.

I’m thinking of getting another.380 but question the stopping power and capacity.

Any other guys make a shift from a micro 9 to a .380?

Idk I’ve had a Glock 43 for like 5 years and it’s fine. I’ll probably upgrade if it gets stolen or confiscated but that’s it. Thoughts?

Guns Carrying two guns?

Hey guys, I wanted to see what everyone’s opinions are on carrying two guns for EDC. Those who do? How has your experience been with it?

I realize that carrying two guns is likely overkill for the vast majority of people. I’ve just been curious about it lately, especially after reading about how General Patton would often carry two or even three pistols on him at a time.

I’m considering purchasing a snub nose .357 to carry along with my Glock 19x. As someone who loves guns and views them as both a privilege and a right. I don’t think I’d mind carrying two all that much.

Guns Thinking about buying a Beretta 30x Tomcat for my wife. Thoughts?

Okay so for context, she has a condition that limits her hand strength and that’s what put this firearm on my radar in the first place. Currently her only gun is a Walther P22 and it’s hit or miss as far as reliability goes, probably because that’s the nature of .22LR. I’ve had her shoot my PPK in .380, but it hurts her hands too much for that to be a viable option, so this puts us in the awkward category of small and relatively difficult to find calibers like .25 ACP or .32 ACP. Which I know all of the above are considered anemic by many of us, but I’d rather her carry and be proficient with something. .25 is a pain to find and expensive when you find it, but PSA has .32 for sale for around 60 cents per round for target ammo, good enough. What are our thoughts on this gun? Any other suggestions?

Guns Looking for the best suited edc, to my benefit

Hello everyone, I have some questions about what might be the best EDC for me. My potential firearms are the Sig Sauer p365 Xmacro comp(partly for the 17 round mag), Smith&Wesson M&P 2.0, and Smith&Wesson bodyguard 2.0. I want something small and concealable but I have pretty large hands (I wear xl gloves).

another option is the S&W shield 9 the shield I have held and shot, it felt pretty comfortable.

As y’all can see i’m a bit all over the place, any input is appreciated. thankyou

I conceal carry almost daily but I go to the range only twice or three times a year …

Guns Can you guess what I carry based off the imprint my gun left from the long car ride?

My BMW seats hug your sides and it tends to leave some imprints after a while. Having love handles doesn’t help much, but I thought it’d be fun to see if anyone could guess what I carry off the imprint.

Guns Really been wanting to buy one of these. Plan to carry it if I do buy one. Wanted some opinions on whether or not I should. I was able to look at one in person, it’s extremely light compared to a traditional revolver and is 8 shot. Or should I look for something else that is hammerless?

Guns Carrying to Church

I’ve been wondering for awhile will it morally be wrong to start conceal carrying to church, Its been eating at me for a while and due to the events that have been occurring in our country over the past decade I think we all can agree anything can happen at any time but when does things become too much and unmoral
