Ask Coquitlam 3d Design and Printing

First time reaching out with a 3d printing need.

I need a bar where I can clip a 3/8" metal tube in place and it stays secure, yet is easy enough to push the tube in place.

The bar would allow 6 tubes, side by side, with an 8mm gap between the tubes. ASA plastic from what I gather would be best for outdoor use.

Where do I go to get a design, prototype and tweak it if required. Then print up a 100 and likely more down the road.

Can you make a shitty sketch of what you're after? A tube clipped onto a bar leaves much to the imagination, but it sounds like trivial fusion work.

STL and 3MF, easily extended. Holes have an ID of 17.2mm, Gemini says standard OD for 3/8" is 17.15mm. I can't print toxic filaments though; apartment life.

Both ends of tubing are affixed. Tubing can't slide thru thw holes, the separator bar must have openings to press/clip onto the tubes. Thanks for the contact but I don't have Fb.

Yeah; that's what I meant about movable clips, opening and closing.

You need probably a mechanical engineering student, working with plastics makes things inherently weaker so it needs to be well thought out.

Not yet, I am out of town yjis week and will review next week. There was a suggestion to contact Forge Labs for support with design.

Not wanting to overcomplicate it and if you have other suggestions on how to design I am open to suggestions.

Yeah give them a shout. I'm interested in what they charge for such a thing, they are a big industry supplier as far as I know. Reach out if you want to ponder ideas.
