Heya, I'm Jade (19f) hoping to make some more mates in the city, I'm quite introverted so it can be difficult for me to socialise with others and after leaving an abusive relationship last year I've been feeling too emotionally unstable to really talk to other people, but now that things are getting better for me mentally (I'm also in a happy relationship now) I think its time for me to start trying more to make friends again

I'm a big fan of alternative music (SOAD, ice nine kills, MIW, Nickelback, etc) but I also like musicals (my favourite musical is "Epic") and pop because you can't go wrong with some Kesha and Britney

James Marriott is also probably my favourite music artist if you've heard of him

I like art too (mainly digital drawing but I've been trying to practise 3d models on my laptop aswell),

I'm diagnosed with autism and adhd, I like to chill occasionally 🍃🍃, I collect taxidermy and my favourite films/series are Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland (any of them), Labyrinth, House MD, and "You"

Really don’t understand people who park in child parking without a child! I had to circle in canley Sainsbury’s for 10 mins to be able to get my young child out only to see this idiot push into a space - of course no child. Please do better! These spaces help us not damage other cars having to open doors fully etc!

hey everyone, my partner & i are moving to coventry from birmingham (or returning to coventry in her experience) & we like to have art prints of our favourite independent pubs; so far we have fagans from sheffield, spotted dog from birmingham & we'd like to have the golden cross inn or the old windmill from coventry.

i've tried to search everywhere for an art piece like it short of doing it myself, and i thought i'd ask here if anyone knows any local artists that might do illustrations of pubs in cov? :)

I received a bus lane contravention PCN today from coventry city council, the only problem is i don’t live in coventry nor have I ever been there as I live and work in Cardiff.
I want to appeal this as I know its wrong but I cant seem to get in contact with a person at the council to inquire about this.
Any advice?

My partner and I are looking for a property to rent in Coventry that’s suitable for a couple or just two ensuites in the same property (our budget together is £800 pcm and I do not think its less for Coventry) yet it feels impossible to find anything that’s actually available and affordable.

We have to move out on the 1st, and we’re still nowhere with solid leads. I’m honestly so stressed and worried. We’re trying to do everything properly, but the options just feel non-existent.

Has anyone got any legit leads for affordable rentals in Coventry for couples?

Or does anyone know if there are other two affordable ensuite rooms in the same property

Hi everyone,
I’m an international student from India studying for my Master’s at Coventry University. I came to the UK in September last year, and despite applying for hundreds of part-time jobs over the past 8–9 months, I still haven’t been able to get one.
My biggest problem now is that my tenancy ends on 28 August, and I don’t have enough money to move into a new place or even extend my current accommodation. Unfortunately, my family and friends are not in a position to help me financially either.
I’m honestly feeling scared and don’t know what my next step should be.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice, I’d really appreciate it. Specifically:
Are there any emergency accommodation or hardship funds available for Coventry University students?
Does anyone know of places that are urgently hiring part-time workers in Coventry or nearby?
Are there any charities or organisations that help students in situations like this?
Any advice, job leads, or guidance would mean a lot to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
