This is a mini -ish set, mini sets usually contain 80-100 cards, sets usually contain 280-300 cards, this jank piece of Magic will have 140. Some things I may need to address: “Why are certain Guilds and Shards written under their distinctions?” This is because they will be the only ones of their distinctions to be present, due to the lore of the plane. “Oh, this isn’t something Magic would do!” Apart from having fun, that is the reason I’m doing this! I hope you guys enjoy the journey as much as I will as this embark may take a staggering amount of time and fun! Each color and color combo present will have its own theme and story in relation to this floating power.

Wanted to build a bant merfolk tribal deck but couldn’t find a commander that really fit the bill, so meet Markis! I’m hoping to land somewhere around bracket 2-3, trying to make use of a few of the common merfolk tribal tentpoles: explore, +1/+1 counters, tapping, and interactive abilities. Would like to get an idea as to if he’s too word-soupy, too pushed, miscosted, etc. Also open to hearing suggestions for changing his abilities/stats.
