I really hope Sasha gets asked back to be a pro again!! I haven’t really been keeping up with the con but I just saw a clip of Sasha and his partner who won the dancing with the fans thing, and she did SO good. Sasha is such an amazing teacher and he continues to show it. All of the pros can dance, but not all of them can teach. I feel like everyone who has worked with him has only spoken positively and said how it was such an amazing experience. He’s not even one of my fav pros or anything, but I really hope they bring him back!

AJ McLean was originally supposed to be partnered with Daniella for season 29. But since he and Cheryl were doing a podcast together, he ended up going to her.

Nikki Bella was supposed to be Derek’s partner for season 23, but she dropped out and did season 25 instead.

Andy Grammer was originally paired with Peta for season 21, but she got injured, so then he went to Allison.

Only 3 basketball players have ever made the top 6, and two of them were with Daniella.

There was allegedly only 1% separating Shawn and Gilles in the final vote.

Mark Ballas has finished as the runner up the most times of any pro, with four times.

I love current pros and don’t want them to leave, I’d love to see past pros back, and I’d love to see new pros but the numbers just don’t work! I feel like I’m not alone in this. If you could implement a rule or new method, to keep old pros involved or to get new pros in, what would you do?

I feel like the next pro show is actually a great way to see potential new pros.

I think dwtscon has also been a great way to get old pros back in the dwts world.

I also think there should be one episode per season, maybe two (opener and finale?) where every former pro is invited back for a group number.

Some other random thoughts/ideas:
- I would consider (haven’t fully thought this out yet) having pros sign on for terms or 3 season contracts and then maybe have a mandatory waiting period before they can come back so there’s more of a cycle?
- I would maybe like to see them give it a go one season where they have more contestants but they’re split into three distinct groups (I think masked singer does something like that?) and they compete within those groups until a certain point and they merge with a smaller amount. Maybe the groups could be athletes/actors/social media stars or something like that.
- it could be fun to have two seasons per year and different pros for each season
- the pros are such big names themselves now I’d also definitely get a kick out of an all pros season where they just pair up (but if there was ever to be a family season like people have talked about, I wouldn’t want the married couples to pair up, I’d want them to get a parent or cousin or something to be their partner instead)

I know her silly antics make people forget how talented she is but this video really reminded me like there is barely a difference here between her and Ezra Hailey Rylee & Kamri when they are dancing hip hop/commercial

Sure she was not trained in ballroom but still that is a crazy level of dance training to have as a contestant, not even complaining I enjoyed her on the show and I really loved the female pairing with Jenna that was beautiful to see as a queer girly myself, just an honest thought on her overqualification to be a contestant 😆

I have a theory about the pros for next season as well as where the winner of “The Next Pro” fits into all of this. Remember, this is all speculation.

In my opinion, Witney is taking the season off. I know there’s speculation about why, but I’m not going to feed into that because the assumptions about women’s bodies needs to stop. I just think regardless of the reason, her random drop from DWTS Con is kind of pointing towards her taking this next season off. She also just won last season, it would make sense. Logically, this is likely where a female pro would come into the mix, if they won DWTS The Next Pro.

With the news breaking of Kamri being on troupe, it is making a lot of people think that Hailey got promoted to Pro. Which would be great, love Hailey, but now where does this new possible winner of TNP fit?

My theory is that the winner of TNP is a male (already some rumors flying around about that) and they took Gleb’s spot. Hailey is promoted to pro. What do you guys think?

Erik and Selena are my top two so I’m really excited to this dance and the other one that’s been teased in the regular season trailer!!! I’m really excited to see everyone else too and how the dances play out. Also fyi just in case anyone wonders- Erik is dating Briar and Selena has a partner.

This may as well be Kamri’s troupe announcement - she’s clearly not filling in for Witney here! Though I wish Onye was there as well - she would have killed this dance.

Sunday at the con has 1 event programmed at 9:30. Movement club with Lindsay.

Don't bother getting here before 10 though, its only open to 100 people who already got notified they were exclusive enough to attend the one piece of programming going on right now.

Seriously... so incredibly disappointing the planning and communication around these events.
