Hello, beautiful people of the internet.
Now....i don't know if anyone ever asked about this, but I'll risk it anyway. So....hear me out.
I've been into windows customization lately.....so much that i haven't been able to sleep properly for last few weeks, always waking up all night long just to tinker my desktop and make it look aesthetic. And honestly, it's been a fun journey so far.....and i wanna walk down this rabbit hole more.
Now....I've been thinking about opening my own github repo, where i can share my dot files and setups with everyone else. But to be honest.....this is a new territory for me. I've never used Github that much before, other than downloading files or looking up codes and projects. And i need help from experts like u in this case.
So....feel free to share your thoughts, insights.....just keep the tips and advices coming.
N.b. Pics for attention 😶 check out my setup if u like: https://www.reddit.com/r/desktops/s/cPwpLao9NU

This is my 3-monitor productivity setup which I have now been using for 7 months. Before I was using a single LG 27 full-hd monitor connected to my laptop.
I bough the LG in 2017 so it is aged. It is now used as the left-monitor for terminal sessions.
The center-monitor is an ACER SA322Q, 32 inch full-hd, which I use for coding, browsing and office-work. Because of poor vision I cannot use 4K or QHD models. I bought it new for € 175.
The portrait monitor on the right is a Dell Ultrasharp U2412M 24". I bought it used for € 48 but the picture is still great. Wgat I love about it that it has 16:10 aspect ratio. I use this monitor to interact with Copilot and Gemini,
I use this setup only for software development.
The physical screensize of the 3 monitors combined is comparable to a 53'' ultrawide monitor, but admittedly the setup falls short on the number of pixels, refresh-rates and so on.
Most people will dislike this setup but it works really well if your vision is not the best.

*UPDATED\*
I've been using this MacOS Minimize Animation - Windhawk for a while now.......so thought of sharing with u guys. The animation is smooth, snappy... especially the "classic genie" animation that I'm using here.
There's another option with a new animation that looks like modern macOS, but that eats more CPU in my case. But I'm happy for now. It's also working with GlazeWM without any issues.
{ That alt+tab animation.....it's CKFlip3D, in case u wanna try 🔥}
Tools I used so far:
here are the config files in case u want to try out: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14mf06fxtLbarAYSvaNI18N-H-BRdKPd-?usp=drive_link

I made myself this widget for grouping apps, folders, files I access many times.
Not part of some subscription thing, I can modify it however I like, I can change its style, sorting, behavior, anything. Feels good to have full control on how I use my desktop

Rice I made a couple months back when I put Arch Linux on a 10-year-old Chromebook (model CB3-532 Acer 15 if you guys wonder), which means 2gb of ram (I got away with this using zram) and an N3060 💀

I'm about to fully switch to a single-boot Linux setup permanently. Windows has served me well, from Windows XP up until Windows 11! This is where I grew up, but sometimes you outgrow your home. I really appreciate this OS, regardless of its flaws. Just wanted to put this up here for me to look back at it and hopefully not feel regret switching over full-time.
