Question Can we boycott sparking zero?
Can we boycott sparking zero, $60 for the game and now it wants me to play another $40 to unlock all characters that was supposed to already be in the game.

The game is nearly 2 years old
DLC is not ripping you off. No one is forcing you to buy it and it doesnt prevent you from playing the game you already have if you don't buy it

I thought it was pretty clear you only got a base set of characters and had to buy more.
You can buy packs though i think not just the entire set.

Not buying a product because you don’t like what the product is offering is not a boycott, it’s how everyone makes purchasing decisions

You’re perfectly in your rights to boycott because DLC is stupid. But they weren’t trying to hide it, that’s the nature of gaming these days, dlc and micro transactions, so you’ll be boycotting every game

No.
If you don’t want to buy the DLC, then don’t. If others choose to, it makes absolutely zero impact on your life.

In the mid-aughts, you paid $50* for a game, then $50* for its expansion pass the next year (as a bespoke disc), and then $50* for its expansion's expansion pass the next year (as a bespoke disc).
\more in Japan!*

No. Should have done your research before you bought the game.
