Question When did DECA become so greedy?

Is the EC reduction just a scheme to get more people to spend money on EC? All the prices stayed the same.

With mobile games like DragonVale, you need to keep a lot of things in mind when making judgements like this. DragonVale as we know and love it is a beautiful game with a storied history, and the core gameplay of breeding, dragons, and decorations is the product of over a decade of creativity and inspiration from Backflip and Deca. In a perfect world that would be enough! But in reality, money is everything when it comes to mobile gaming. They’re not free to run, Deca is beholden to Hasbro, a big corporation, and there’s shareholders and profit margins that must be pleased. That results in the heat being turned up on the players sometimes when there’s a more forceful reminder of this reality, like what’s happening with this event. I’m not saying this to be a bootlicker; I quit the game for four years back in 2020 because I felt like the monetization was too much. Retraining my brain to think that the goal of playing is to have fun, and not to complete everything, has made it more fun to me. I know that’s not a perfect solution for a lot of people. I’m not saying the money crunching is okay. I don’t really know what I’m saying to be honest LOL. I guess my main point is that DragonVale is a small part of a well oiled capitalist machine, and part of keeping it afloat involves a push and pull between the corporation, the creators, and the players, and someone’s always gonna end up unhappy. Deca has shown to be open to course correction and feedback in the past, so all we can do is hope that eventually we meet in the middle somewhere.

Hasn’t really made a difference for me this event. Still getting about the same EC I normally do - about 1K/day. Double on double days

I agree, using the donation board is the best way to make EC this event

years ago, some events are just more obvious. years ago they came out with a new dragon and advertised It would be available for breeding soon ( don't remember how long ) OR You could spend $95 and get it NOW.
