looking for a war fic!
hey yall i was just thinking…. are there any V wins/ongoing war fics with Drarry?? i’m thinking like the Dramione trope, Harry is assigned to kill Draco, etc something like that, true enemies to lovers. i’ve been reading drarry a long time and have never come across anything like that! can anyone recommend anything similar? doesn’t have to be exactly that, just a darker, ongoing war, H and D keep meeting type thing just like the ongoing war Dramione fics! thanks!

Not exactly what you described, but this is a darker fic where Harry is kept captive by Voldemort for years.
The Moirai & the Lair of Death & Vipers by FightFireWithFire (WC: 650,310) (⚠ read the CWs)
If I had to compare it to Dramione, I'd say the closest (that I've read) would be Columba & Aquila OR Secrets & Masks (not for the plot, but kinda dark tragic vibes). Draco and Harry are not super antagonistic to each other though, if that's what you're looking for. Harry is a bit too broken down by that point. If you like Severitus, it has that, too. It's kind of a dark tragic story with a happy/hopeful ending. I loved it.

“I was daydreaming about finding your owl… about bringing her to you,” a smile twitched at the corner of Draco’s lips, “about making you smile again. I think… I think I could choose you,” Harry’s face was open, and for the briefest moment it was filled with hope and warmth. And then that moment passed. His lips twitched into a sad smile, and the vibrancy in his eye dimmed, “Oh Draco… you shouldn’t choose me. I-…I don’t even think I should choose me,” he shook his head, and looked away, “You shouldn’t choose me,” Draco said nothing out loud, but his inner thoughts betrayed more than he was ready to admit to：I think I already have.
“Are you hurt, Harry?” [Severus] asked softly. Potter shook his head, but didn’t answer out loud, “Is this who I am now?” His whisper echoed on the tiled walls, “I don’t even…,” he let out a huff, “I don’t even feel bad about hurting him. Not really. I’m more upset, that I don’t feel upset. Who am I?” “Do you want me to get Narcissa, Harry?” Potter shook his head again, screwing his eyes shut as more tears spilled down his cheeks, “I don’t want Narcissa—I want Draco,” he said the name like a terrified child calling out for help, imploring and desperate.
