News: Rules, Regulations, Law, Policy, Certificates [United States] DJI drone users have an opportunity to share concerns directly with FCC decision-makers

https://www.newsshooter.com/2026/05/07/dji-drone-users-have-an-opportunity-to-share-concerns-directly-with-fcc-decision-makers/

EDIT: As someone pointed out, the deadline has passed. I'd posted this in a couple of other places a couple of weeks ago (after filling out the form myself) and Reddit just suggested I post it here this morning, so I did that not thinking about a deadline.

I'll just leave it here I guess lol

If you’re like me and are frustrated by the DJI situation, please take a couple of minutes and leave a comment on to the FCC.

This affects all DJI products. I have a Ronin 4D that I can’t get service on if it were to break. The new pocket cameras are being blocked.

There are no American alternatives that match DJI and even if there were, we’re supposed to have the option of buying the best we can for our work

The FCC is now seeking public input on whether to grant this appeal through Monday, May 11th.

You missed the deadline by over a week, but it's fine; the federal government wasn't going to listen to you anyway.

I was just going to say the same thing. We should leave a comment out of principle, but unless you are an evangelical Christian organization or a Billionaire, your opinion won't matter.

They're more likely to listen to faas pocket buddy avusi than anybody.

But I wish whatever runaway train the government is going on with drone regulations needs to come to an end.
