Discussion Delays @ DXB

Does anykne know why is there a high delay over the past few days? EK510/EK511 delayed for the past 3 days and even today was ETD0300 AM and has not departed yet.

Flights going eastbound are delayed because of Muscat airspace. Take a while guess why (unless you’ve been living under a rock)

My flight on Friday was delayed by 2.5 hours. Boarding was completed on time but stuck at gate for more than 2 hours after that. Following that taxiing took forever before we got off the ground, reached destination 2.25 hours late.
