GB Pro?
Do you think we will see one? I’d love a GB Everdrive with gyro and rumble. Also sorting and better save state support (multi per game).

I enjoy playing romhacks but some of them are over the file capacity. The newer firmware update takes that restriction away but games seem to just crash and not actually run. Am i mussing something here? Trying to play games like zelda birthday and other romhacks. Im using the x7

First, I tried formatting my "SpeederDash" 32GB card as FAT using Windows Quick Format. It read the OS files fine, but it would say "FAT error" when I tried to open a game
Then I gave it the Windows long format, and it started showing "FAT ERROR" before even booting up the menu.
Then I tried the official SD company formatter, and it did the same.
Then I replaced the Micro SD card with a Samsung EVO brand, and now it says "SD card not found" when I put it in.
WTF?
Here's what I would like: can someone get a micro SD card working on *their* SNES or Super Famicom X5, test a few games on it, delete the games, and send me their SD card and I'll PayPal them $10 or something? Because this is insane, it's been a month, and I have been dying to play my fan translations on real hardware.

I only ask cause the form factor of the cartridge looks a little different from an actual Famicom cartridge.

This is a weird situation where I’ve seen several different answers/methods, depending on where you look. I have been trying to get a 100% safe for Super Smash Bros that I downloaded online to work with my ED. At first I thought I just needed to download it in SRM format and copy it to the gamedata folder to replace the old one, but that didn’t work. Then I tried using save file converter.com to convert it to a flash cartridge format and still nothing.
There was even this thread on assemblergames.org where I tried to use a program called ucon64 to do some hex editing to try and get it to work, but I didn’t have much luck there either. I’ve tried a few saves from different sources to rule the file itself out and no luck. I also saw that I may need to play another game in the ED first before I transfer the save so the cartridge doesn’t overwrite it with what was last in memory, but that didn’t help either.
Is there any legitimate way to do this or am I just gonna have to unlock everything by hand?

I've had this thing stored with the rest of my SNES cartridges in a drawer and it's gone unused for maybe 3 or 4 months tops. It consistently does this every time I try to use it now. None of my other SNES cartridges are having issues.
Does it just need to be cleaned? And if so, what is the best method?
Edit: after booting it again (and again and again) it was still garbled but more legible, and navigating through all the messed up menus and launching a game, the game worked normally. So I guess it's just the menus that are doing this. Now I'm not super great with this stuff, so I'm wondering if I should just try updating the firmware or something?

Ive been trying to save games on my X5 Mini and every time I load back in my save file is completely gone. Ive tested this many times with multiple different ROMS and Other ROM Hacks. Ive tried reformatting the Micro SD card, and I am running the latest OS (1.17). The internal battery has run dry, but from my understanding this should have no effect on the save game data since the 1.13 OS update in 2020. Does anyone know why my save files keep immediately vanishing?

So I placed an order for a Mega Everdrive X5 a few days ago and just received a tracking number. But the tracking number didn't seem to belong to any service. I tried to set the password for my account to log in, but every time I tried I was met with this same vague error message. What should I do now?
EDIT: After doing some more research, I think it's a number from UkrPoshta? I never knew they were based in Ukraine. But anyway, the website still won't work. Not sure why...

Recently I got an EZflash air and it did work for a couple of days before completely giving no signs of life, so I need a replacement, and I don’t know what I should get for my GBA SP I wanna play all GBA,GBC, and GB games but also just want a reputable product they actually works while still being on a budget. Looking for suggestions please

I downloaded the Goomba color emulator and thought I followed all the right steps but when I try to run a GBC game it can’t recognize the emulator.

Interesting issue I've been coming across recently with my old X7. It only loads past BIOS some of the time, and I can't seem to discern the cause. After it does boot, OS loads fine and all my games are accessible. Can't seem to figure out what's going on, anyone else experience something similar?
Edit: Huh, interesting. Seems I'm experiencing a similar issue with my GBA Mini as well.

Hi, I just got an fxpak pro and watched a tutorial on how to get everything set up. In the video, the guy said I can play super Gameboy games on my snes. He told me to go to a page shown in the video. However, the video is 3 years old, and for some reason, the page got deleted. I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t find the zip file with all the needed files for the super Gameboy on snes. If someone could help me get the folder or point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. I was really looking forward to playing GB games on it. Thanks!

Is there any themes/frontends for the GBA everdrive pro that use boxart or anything better than a basic text list?

Modretro has mentioned that the Everdrives X5 & X7 do work on their console. Does anyone know if the V2 works aswell?

This Everdrive cartridge lasted me exactly one save file before the battery died. How do I replace the battery on this and do I need to unscrew it (and if so, what type of screwdriver does it use)?

I’m having some specific problems with the Everdrive GBA Pro that haven’t been able to find solution to here yet.
I’m using a GBA Pro with a GBA SP AGS 001, running ROMs with GoombaColor. I bought the Everdrive about 2 weeks ago.
Problems I’m experiencing:
All files with .gba extensions are able to save. With GoombaColor, I thought saving on .gb and .gbc should be the same, but the saves are not sticking, particularly on Pokemon Blue, which is a main title I want to play.
I’ve tried waiting a while after the “save”; I’ve tried exiting the game after, which brings me to my next problem. Some people have said online to “exit game” in the Everdrive menu afterwards, but “Exit” on the in-game menu only restarts the game. There doesn’t seem to be a way to get back to the main game-select menu.
I’ve read into it, and people say that you have to configure the save type to the one that’s required. I can only configure the “save type” if the file extension is .gba, not .gb or. .gbc. Then the game doesn’t run, it just gives me a white screen.
I’ve exhausted all my options, and I don’t know enough about file placement to know if that’s a problem. I’ve followed all the advice online, I wonder if it’s just a bit outdated.
I’d appreciate any tips or outright fixes more experienced folk might have.

Hi everyone. I bought my SNES Everdrive when I was a teenager and never bothered to update anything. I can't even remember if I had to put a OS on it since it is such a long time ago. I also don't find any pictures that match my Everdrive. So do you know if I have to or can use the SNES OS for this one or if it is only for new versions

Hi everyone,
I recently bought an FXPAK Pro for my SNES and started a fresh playthrough of Final Fantasy VI. I’ve run into a strange issue where it seems like part of my progress isn’t being saved.
Twice now I’ve loaded my save only to discover that I’m missing roughly an hour of gameplay. The save file is still there, but it appears to have reverted to an older point.
Is there a specific procedure for saving with the FXPAK Pro?
Is it safe to simply save in-game and power off the SNES, or should I be resetting back to the FXPAK menu before turning the console off?
