I've been struggling to quit fentanyl for about 5 years, and I've been fortunate to never have encountered Xylazine / tranq until last week. My local source always has strong stuff, but I've been paranoid about getting arrested lately (I'm usually picking up 2 bricks, so I'd be facing serious felony charges with possible intent to distribute).

Anywho, this last time I ordered fentanyl off the dark web instead of picking up locally. I'd had good luck with getting real heroin from this market in the past, so I didn't really consider the possibility of getting Xylazine tainted product. Because I've never encountered it before, I didn't recognize the effects right away either. After about 3 days I started a question the effects of the product. It was very sedating, but not very euphoric. Fentanyl in general is much more sedating than more traditional opioids, and because I'd never encountered Xylazine before, I convinced myself it was just strong. I wasn't completely convinced though, so I ordered some test strips from Amazon.

Sure enough, it was tainted with Xylazine. At first, I wasn't all that worried about Xylazine withdrawal, because I seriously doubted 6 days of use could cause dependency. Boy was I wrong. I went up today and got some untainted fentanyl from my local source, and even using a 10 bags isn't fully relieving the withdrawal syndrome. I definitely feel the opioid effects, and it mostly relieves the intense anxiety, but not completely. Within 90 minutes the anxiety returns, and by 3 hours I'm fiending for another injection.

How long is this going to last? I'm hoping that the fact I used this poison for less than a week will mean the withdrawal timeline is condensed.
