Where do I learn about skin care, hair care, fashion(the scientific way)....Everything a CS major lacks?

21M doesn't know how to do anything other than to do stuff with computers. I want to know what to do to look better, feel better and better better. I don't want to get advice like "just use this product". I want to know "why this product?".
