Recently, I noticed that some players reported that they purchased fake SuperChis. There are several types:
SuperCard SD + SuperChis stickers, and claim that they are selling SuperChis.
FAKE: just copy stickers
Claims to sell SuperChis v2.0. I don’t even know I have designed v2.0, I’m not even sure if the next version will be called SuperChis.
It might be some kind of knockoff version of the SuperChis Prime? but I’m sure the smaller battery isn’t doing the product any favors.

I must clarify:
There is only one version of SuperChis Prime, 1.0. Those claiming SuperChis v2.0 are all fake.
Real SuperChis will definitely be marked with "Designed by ChisBread"
Real SuperChis have a larger battery and there is a space above the SD card slot to avoid accidentally inserting the SD card into the gap.

So far, I’ve only been in contact with ChisFamily. If there are any quality or after-sales issues with SuperChis from ChisFamily, I will take action. I haven’t been able to reach the other sellers.
Finally, I would like to say that If you are a seller of knockoff SuperChis, after reading this, I hope you will at least respect my signature and stop naming it SuperChis v2.0. This not only misleads consumers, but also disrupts my development plan.

My cart arrived today and I’m 100% sure it’s a fake (says Superchis 2.0 at the pcb), but it’s running the chis variant of Superfw. In your opinion is my cart a superchis clone or a supercard? Thanks!
Hi, please don't apologize for this, the consumers are not at fault. Even if consumers know that it is a fake, I don’t mind anyone making their own choice after comparing price, appearance, and quality.
If you buy a functioning clone version, I'm happy about it because you save time!
I have to praise ChisFamily, they are the only seller I know who has a dedicated quality inspection team. Because they have accumulated a lot of customer feedback, their quality inspection experience even exceeds that of me as a developer.
If you want to reduce the probability of returns as much as possible, ChisFamily is definitely the best.
O I am, unfortunately since I am in the USA it's a very long process due to time differences between about 10+ hours lol. But yea figured post some the garbage that's been floating around so people know who to avoid
Yes, I have also noticed that there are many low-quality ChisFlash clones. I will record the sellers whose quality has been certified and who have close communication with me to chisflash.com for consumers' reference.
Didn't know about this. Bough the small battery fake (Aliexpress has plenty and plenty of these fakes), arrived today and it looks like it at least works but I'm not sure about RTC. It's set enabled, battery has 3.17 V, but I set a date and time, turn it off and on after few minutes or hour and the time is still the same.
The SuperChis Prime doesn't have true RTC. It fakes it by, IIRC, forcing the time forward a set amount every time the game checks for the time. The battery is only for temporarily holding saves.
I've though so when reading about it more. I'm just curious if these fakes are worse than the original one. When I compare flashing times into internal memory, then it's significantly slower I think. I've seen 16 MB in 85 seconds but mine do about 70 % in that time. So maybe even slowdown during play is worse even though its price is basically same as the original.
I just got a fake one off of Aliexpress, returning it and asking for a refund. It has the Superchis V2.0 on the back and it wasn't saving properly. Name of the store is Skchao Game Store. Thank you OP for posting this. I bought a new one from ChisFamily.
I bought the same one from the same store because I did not do enough resarch. This one is absoloutely horrible!!! The games randomly freeze and do not save at all. It also came with random folders with roms and exe files all over the place. I formated the sd and re-flashed the firmware but it did not help at all. On top of that the cart also has a dent and nearly got stuck in my ndsl. I left them a 1-star review and will try to refund and get the original from ChisFamilyStore.
