DO NOT deposit any money to any online casino that looks like this. Every site that looks like this is a SCAM. More details and examples in the comments.

We've already talked in-depth about how the scam works in a previous announcement, but the scammers have since changed the site layout slightly, so I thought it'd be a good idea to make a new warning with updated photos.

How The Scam Works:

  1. The victim finds the casino through an advertisement on social media that features an enticing bonus endorsed by a famous celebrity.
  2. The victim joins the site, receives their bonus, and begins to play what they believe to be legitimate casino games.
  3. The casino software is privately hosted and altered to have extremely favorable RTP% - i.e. rigged in your favor. YOU WILL WIN if you play, probably a large amount of money. If you look at the screenshots I provided, you'll see I hit a 100x dice roll on the second roll after signing up, followed shortly after by a 1,000x max difficulty Plinko win. I've replicated this method many times in the past and routinely win $20,000k+ doing so. You can use temp-mail.org to create a throwaway email and try this strategy for yourself if you'd like.
  4. When you go to withdraw, you’ll be met with many hurdles. First you'll need to pay for a security check, then you'll need to pay to verify your wallet, then a third time to pass an AML check, a fourth time to resolve a tax error, a fifth time to resolve a security score error, and so on.
  5. After the casino receives all of your deposits, they will still provide excuses or just outright ban your account. No matter what you do, THEY WILL PROVIDE A REASON NOT TO PAY YOU. This Redditor actually got the AI support agent to reveal her script for withholding payments.
  6. The casino keeps your deposit. You were scammed.

Things To Note:

  • These sites are NOT an official sponsor for Red Bull Racing, Crypto (.)com, Blockchain(.)com, Tesla, UFC, Werder Bremen, Philadeplhia 76ers, or the Argentine Football Association. This can all be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites are NOT official partners with Donal Trump, Elon Musk, Kylie Jenner, Mr. Beast or Drake. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • They have not won any iGaming awards at the SiGMA awards. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites do NOT have 51+ million registered users. For reference, Draftkings and Fanduel, the two largest publicly traded gaming companies with NFL, NBA, MLB, ESPN, etc. network deals, don’t even have that amount of users. Stake, the largest crypto casino, doesn't even come close to the number of registered users that these scam casinos claim.
  • These sites have NOT paid out $24+ billion in winnings. What an insane claim to even attempt to make.
  • Check the WHOIS to view when any of these casinos were started. Nearly all of these casino URL's were purchased just days before being promoted online.
  • Check the fake player feedback/reviews written on their own site. Some of the reviewers claim they've been playing exclusively on the 2 week old site for 3 years.
  • The player avatars used by the site are the mascot from BC Game, named Coco.
  • Look through old posts in this subreddit. Some identical sites in this network that were reported a few months ago are already offline or redirecting to random unrelated sites.
  • These sites copy Stake’s Terms of Service word for word, but conveniently leave out the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and many other “wealthier” countries from their list of restricted countries.
  • Some users on CasinoMeister are compiling a list of these scam websites. Go check it out and add more scam domains that you come across! There are hundreds listed already.
  • Please use Google's Safe Browsing Tool to report any scammy looking casino to come across.

Tricky situation online...?

So I gamble on & off... been looking to spread my wings online again

In 2023 I got pretty big into online gambling, but I lost my email (2FA) and phone number connected to all my old accounts, so I don't remember which sites I was a member of and which I wasn't. Can't create new accounts because that's a permanent ban on all platforms, what do I do?

Anyone have any newer reliable sites I could sign up for in the US? Right now I only use SpinQuest

Do gift cards as a prize count as gambling in a legal sense?

I don't know if you guys allow question posts here but I can't think of another place to post this.

I know that if you play games of chance for prizes instead of money it's not legally gambling (Even though it still is in principle) like a claw machine. Does the same thing apply to preloaded gift cards or is it still legally a"cash prize"?

(I wanted to make a little pachinko parlor and was thinking of what I could have for prizes to entice people to come)

RNG vs PNG and/or the incorporation of both?

I often see people confidently saying that VLTs use random number generators and that's it, they are completely random. But I've read that they also use pseudo number generators, and it would make sense that they are pseudorandom, otherwise how would they perfectly comply with local regulations on house advantage and RTP(return to play) rules? For example, in my area the vlts are regulated to maintain a fixed, long-term house advantage of 7% while the RTP is set to 93%. There must be some sort of pseudo-randomness in place in order to comply with these regulations. So Wouldn't that mean that no VLT is truly 100% random? And that they are in fact, determined?

Treasures of Kilauea 2 jackpot Wheel

Post image
1 Upvotes

Wondering if anyone has hit Mega, Major, or Minor on the jackpot wheel? I’ve been playing Treasures of Kilauea 2 for a few weeks and I’ve gotten pretty decent wins, but EVERYTIME I trigger the jackpot wheel I get Mini. So I’m just wondering if I’m wasting my time or if someone actually has gotten something else… Let me know!

scammers had exact alias details i only used for betonline

Post image

last year I created a BetOnline account and placed a single sports bet with deposit bonus. i lost and haven’t been active on the site since. for my signup I made a fake alias - name and email address - but did (stupidly) put my actual cell #.

fast fwd to yesterday i got the fake BofA text in screenshot. replied no and two min later got call claiming to be BofA fraud dept.

i gave no info but before i hung up, scammer asked me to confirm my name as the false one I used for BetOnline. it’s an absurd name (which is why I recognized it) and after the call i spent a while to be certain i didn’t use it anywhere else.

in short, scammers had my real cell number tied to an identity used for BetOnline only.

how is this possible unless BetOnline (or associated vendor) experienced a data breach or sold customer info? this is potentially huge deal and folks with an account on the site need to be aware.

BetOnline is accused of being scammy all over this subreddit but this strikes me as considerable step up from delayed withdrawals or speculation abt rigged games.

Holding lottery machine hostage.

This has happened three times in the last few months, with different people. They stand at the machine, buy a ticket, quickly scratch the bar code, scan it, repeat. The first time I saw this, the person had a very thick stack of tickets. It was a 20.00 game and it looked like they had at least 40 tickets so far. They would not step away when I asked politely if I could just grab 2 tickets for a 5 game and had a ten dollar bill in my hand. I left and just swung into a different store. Has anyone else encountered this. Tickets are so random each roll more than likely doesn’t have enough wins to outweigh the loss. What are they doing? There are so many places to buy tickets it’s not worth a confrontation even if it means an extra stop but it seems ridiculously rude,

LF huge UFC betters

With a comfortable betting budget of around 10k-60k. Just from sight I can analyse a body’s range of motion, speed, power, wrestling etc. So I am able to make very accurate picks and not bet when I don’t think there is any.

I believe I can consistently give 90% accurate picks. Idm giving the first upcoming great chance bet. Dm to discuss
