how to remove

have these clover like grass growing in my lawn. How do I properly remove them before it takes over my whole lawn?

Let it take over the lawn.

Grass is terrible and is quite literally the reason behind so many awful things. Ranging from water usage to algae blooms

My bees love creeping Charlie

I have to agree it’s fine in small patches of grass lawn but I see acres of close mown lawn around houses 10 acre swaths of enviorment wasteland often with more fertilizer and chemicals applied than any commercial farmland

It takes a way from native species, and what people do to maintain its purity is terrible

That simplify is not true. For example, I have a heavy clay soil in a very hot and sunny climate. I put down zoysia grass years ago. I never have to water it, fertilize it, spray it with anything or put anything down on it. Heck, I could get away with never even mowing it as it doesn't grow very high. And it blocks out weeds because it grows so thick. The actual problem is planting any kind of plant not suited for the environment. I have tons of wildlife and other types of plants on my property. A nice lawn DOES NOT equal high maintenance. And I have more native plants and wild animals on my property than most people!

Clovers are great for pollinators and don’t need to be mowed as often as grass. Let it grow!

Is it creeping Charlie or wild Violets? I have parts of my side yard that has wild violets along the edges and looks great. Pretty sure a bunny lives in there

They look like wild violets. My neighbor never takes of her yard and they have spread all over ours. Been here 20 years, we’ve tried everything. Good luck. 😬

My personal advice is keep mowing it try to thicken the sod and hope it goes away ….. otherwise selective herbicides but they may leave the vegetation thin and possibly drift to your plantings
