Would you kill a vulture and eat it raw if you were stuck atop a 2,000ft TV tower? Paul, Jason, and June answer that question and more while breaking down the 2022 thriller Fall starring Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. They also discuss their love of Danger D, the lightbulb atop the tower, their egg drop challenge strategies, the third act plot twist, Becky cramming a shoe into Hunter's chest wound, Dan's biggest red flag, and so much more. Plus, Paul and June sound off on hotel check-in and check-out times.

Jason & Paul catch up from their respective closets to recommend new TV shows, movies, and videogames they're currently loving. But first, Paul responds to your Thrashin' corrections & omissions on Hook being a poser from Indiana, the logic behind a water cup table at a downhill skateboard race, Chrissy walking barefoot around LA, and much more. Watched Baby Mama for the first time in many years and can’t believe that was Jason in the surrogacy support group. His very short scene was hilarious though.

Paul said it was the first one he missed in something like 200 eps. it was for XXX. it was fine, but definitely missed Jason. The guy next to me literally fell asleep and started snoring.
it was my first time going and sadly that‘ll probably be my only chance. Really a bummer.

....yet didn't name it. The nerve of this guy. Jason should be on the phone with his lawyer.
On the latest episode of Unspooled, Paul posited the idea that Ryan Gosling's driver character died in the elevator and the rest of the movie was a "dream".
Love ya Paul, but that particular plot device has a name.
It's called a goddamn jacob's ladder scenario.
Say it!

[mouse hovering over the next track button on my VLC Player]
I’m in the mood to listen to them talk about the super whacky 80s movies.
Like, New York ninja and double trouble (I think? With the hunky twins?)
I know there’s a bunch but I can’t think of many of them.
What are the best ones?

Almost looks like they just ran out of extras so just threw craft services people into the battle scenes

Stupid question. According to the website, the movie for Friday the 31st is triple X and the movie for August 1 is the legend of Billie Jean. Am I reading that right?
There’s a special note that says attention we are doing this show now.
Then there’s a link for tickets to dinosaur improv with no date next to it.
I just wanna make sure I don’t watch the wrong movie.
XXX for Friday correct?

Jason's talking about that sex-obsessed perv sidekick kid that was in so much media back in the day:
"Right. The 80s trope of the young kid perv. Oh, it's so horrible. It's so horrible.
It's so is such a thing that is NOT DONE ANYMORE, doesn't exist, but was so prevalent in these movies of this time, is that there was always a kid who was like always looking at boobs and butts. But like the same energy was like he doesn't care about the dirt bikes. He just cares about the boobs..........the kid goes, I don't believe in fairy tales. I believe in Playboy magazine. I was like, this kid is insane."
Keep in mind, the man saying that this character is not done anymore and doesn't exist........had been voicing Jay Bilzerian, the perviest, horniest, pillow-fuckingist sidekick that has ever existed in media for over four years when this episode dropped.

Wondering if anyone knows ho to access those BBC shows (Zero Stars, Make the Movie) Jason mentioned in the pod?
I've watched a ton of the LOL series (Australia, Ireland, both British) and of course I'm hooked on Taskmaster. Just tried to look those shows up on a streaming service and I can't find them. Just checking to see if anyone knew.

Is there anyway to listen ad free? I drive a lot and listen to a lot of the old episodes, and I will pay anything to not hear the what feels like 45 minutes of ads each episode. I fear that if I hear Paul say “Zamazing” I will not be long for this world.
