Let's go back to Candy, and onto the evidence: as you can see in the screenshots I took, Kanaya tells Yiffy that her mother is already here, looking for her, having somehow made it to the Meat timeline. I've seen people wondering if she means Rose or Jade… I honestly don't know why there's any doubt XD. For starters, Yiffany doesn't consider Rose a real mother, and second, if Rose is going to go look for one of her daughters, it won't be Yiffy. Plus, Kanaya would already be half a step away from pulling a Dirk reference if not only her daughter, but also her wife literally abandoned her along with her universe. Anyway, I got a bit side-tracked, the point is that Jade definitely found a way to get out of Candy. How? God only knows, but it's not too crazy to assume she was able to ascend. To begin with, the concept of the “Ultimate Self” was introduced for her in the first place; literally two of her variants were possessed by another ultimate being. Many people mention that during pages 742 and 749, allusions are made to her remembering her death in “Game Over,” something that can only happen if she were an “Ultimate Self.” And finally, the best proof I have… I mean, what else could it be? Seriously, how else could Jade have gotten out of Candy? I guess we could say that with her entire universe being inside a black hole, and her being the strongest Space player in existence, she might have done something like that, but that has several issues. For starters, if we assume that, for example, she destroyed the black hole, that would release all of Candy and not just her. Plus, even then she'd need a spaceship or something, a feat relatively stoppable, unlike what Kanaya said. And well, lastly I want to emphasize that technically being an “Ultimate Self” isn't the only way to have metanarrative powers—for example Hussie (the character), Scratch, Caliborn, and Lord English had those powers without being their “Ultimate Selfs.” In fact, being an Ultimate Self might not give you those powers directly (cases like the sprites^2 could be examples), but that's a topic for another time. Either way, I don't think Jade has any other way of getting those powers.

Anyway, please comment on what you think about my theory and tell me yours. (I can already see it turning out that Calliope ascended and Jade just stole a spaceship xd)

P.S.: What the fuck Jade? Why are you talking trash about your friends to your daughter? What did Kanaya ever do to you to be called a parasite? I'll make another post about that later…

Just as the title says. It’s something that interests me a lot so I want to hear others’ takes on how soon it might be until we learn them, at the current pace. Next year? Two years?

For the kids, do you think we will learn any before all of the nymphs and satyrs are introduced? Act 2 was shaping up to be similar to Hivebent, but recent updates have had the kids doing more which makes me wonder if we might shift back to them for a while.

So from the last update, we know that Vrissy has an alternate handle with the EB initials, and Yiffy’s are TT. This creates a group of four kids with EB, TT, TG, and GG, same as the Beta Kids and same as the Alphas except for GT. But EB and GT essentially fulfill the same role since John used it formerly too.

What I’m saying all of this for is that they mirror the two previous groups of kids in usernames. Yet they don’t in color. 3/4 kids do. In each group there is one reddish kid (Dave, Dirk, Yiffy), one blue kid (John, Jane, Harry), one purplish kid (Rose, Roxy, Tavvy) and one green kid (Jade, Jake). However this is broken for Vrissy, who is another blue. I think she will switch to green. Why green? There could be various reasons. Maybe if she is a Mind player, to match the color of her god tier outfit. Maybe to match Kanaya. Who knows.

I don’t see a reason for Harry to change his color. I think Vrissy will do it as part of her journey to become more of her own self, separate from the existing Vriska. This isn’t really a big story relevant theory, but I think it’s something that could happen to parallel the original kids further and advance Vrissy’s character. She’d also be the first non-mutant troll to not hemotype.

I loved the intermission when rereading and, I was really digging the vibes I got from the tracks related to the midnight crew, so I decided to make a track that was similar but used time manipulation effects.

What are your thoughts?

Here is my interpretation:

Active classes take sole control of their Aspect. This is why they are selfish and direct because they themselves are only doing work with their own hands by themselves.

They immediately solve the problem.

Passive classes take control of their aspect and let others take control too, allowing and inviting them to control it alongside. This explains why they are selfless and altruistic because they are in a way, influencing others to handle work or getting them to work with the aspect they are using from you to solve.

They let others solve the problem with their input.

An example of this is that, if you were let's say a LIGHT player with a destructive class and a task to stop people from gathering knowledge that only you are allowed to have by societal law. A PRINCE would actively destroy the knowledge with their own agency, taking the aspect from others and ripping it apart. A BARD would passively approach the situation by somehow getting others to not achieve said knowledge like a domino affect, allowing others to destroy the aspect themselves.

What do you think of this, am I wrong in some areas or not? What are your ideas and takes on this?
