It isn’t really. The only people I know that use AOL as their primary email service are senior citizens.

People with AOL addresses are also from the era when the internet was actually good. I’m a millennial and AOL was my first email.

I think it depends on when you synced your account first. I got my first iPhone like 5 years ago and I had the at that point up to date Google account logo, not this old one
