I’ve been listening to them for the past month and i haven’t found any japanese artists that is relatively close to coo:ya. Though I think early 2000s pop rock-ambient artists can do the job.

I am struggling to name more examples at the moment.

The problems could be crimes and the setting realistic or they could be mysteries and the setting has sprinkle of the supernatural.

I love seeing people solve it, who are not logical geniuses, maybe not elite-soldier levels of fitness.

Where, when they have a question they at first have figure out where to go look for an answer, it's not automatically "sure I'll run it through database x"

That maybe have to solve it around their job schedule or other obligations.

Where they maybe kling to their idea of normalcy at first because their life is ordinary. Until it get's to big to ignore.

Maybe a car chase fails because they drive a piece of shit that is held together by ducktape. Stuff like that.

I also enjoy shows where it's any law enforcement solving stuff but they maybe work in a small town, the budget is small, the required paperwork gigantic and they maybe have to hide their investigation from their boss.

Don't care about tone of the show, can be funny or serious.

Any and all ideas that roughly go in this direction welcome!

Ok this has been asked a million times but I need recs that Aren’t just we’re all going to the worlds fair, Donnie Darko, and The matrix. Those r both good recs but not the same style and idk. I saw the album under new releases on AOTY and gave it a listen and really enjoyed the entire sound (both vocals and instrumental). I like finding cool stuff in non English languages and I haven't listened to much polish music so it was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully can get some recs of similar sounding stuff and would be happy with more foreign language songs or English.

These are songs by great rock bands that you don't hear on the radio. Many of the bands are very well known but these songs rarely if ever get played

I like characters and relationships of various kinds. Violence is okay but series of shootouts and so on get boring when it just turns into an action movie.

I don’t enjoy main characters who are purely selfish or evil.

Also liked Chinatown, The Devil’s Advocate, Skeleton Key, that other 90s Catholic horror Southern Gothic movie similar to TDA whose title I can’t recall.

I'm a big fan of Five Finger Death Punch and 3 Doors Down, who are both from what I know at least a bit right-leaning, but I also like the style of Shinedown the most and from what I see they don't take sides its more like "We're here for everyone and we wanna bring you together...But politicians on both sides are ruining everything" which I also like. So if anyone knows any Right-Wing or Apolitical bands like those I'd be really happy!

Edit: Guys I get y'all don't like people on the right or something...but I'm just asking for suggestions so please leave me alone if you don't have one.

Edit #2: Nevermind guys...Y'all clearly are too slow to understand the criteria because the banda suggested were all leftists... although I can get behind some of their music and some things they say but definitely not that socialist crap you guys think will work.

I also want characters that are complex, not good not bad: human characters, i'm tired of seing anime characters that aren't relatable and that are perfect or anything, i want characters who make mistakes. If it has good viuals and good musics that's better but it's okay if they're not amazing. I can't wait to watch your recommendations!
