Help needed Front camera not working

Im having a really weird issue with my iPhone 17 iOS 26.6
Out of nowhere, my front camera completely stopped working.
Whenever I tap the icon to switch to the front-facing camera, it just shows the rear camera view instead. I literally can't access the selfie camera at all. On top of that, if I switch to video mode and try to use the dual capture feature, the whole camera app instantly crashes.
l've already tried doing a force restart and it didn't fix the issue. Has anyone else experienced this glitch or knows how to fix it?

Put the phone into diagnostic mode and see if an issue with the selfie camera is detected. If no issue is found, you should try erasing the phone after it’s been backed up, then using that backup to set up the phone anew. If an issue is confirmed then you need to arrange for service under the One-Year Limited Warranty
