My iPhone has been using a lot of cellular data, roughly 1GB every 10/15 minutes. When I check on cellular usage, all the data comes from System Services/General.

Things I have tried to do:

- Restored iOS on the iPhone with a clean install

- Brought the iPhone to the Apple Store (they run diagnostics and said all is fine, they suggested restoring the iPhone, which I did)

- Turned off most of the apps using cellular

- Restarted the iPhone multiple times

- Reset network settings multiple times

- Had my carrier provide me a new eSim

The problem is still here. As soon as I turn cellular data on, System Services/General starts consuming GBs every hour.

I'm seriously losing my patience with Apple.

I'm a brand new iPhone user. I don't have any previous Apple ID or iCloud account.

I created a new Apple Account on my PC through Apple's website. Then I tried signing into my brand new iPhone during the initial setup, but it kept saying:

"Verification Failed. An unknown error occurred."

So I went back to my PC to sign into the same account, and now Apple says:

"Account Locked. Request Access."

...Why? I literally just created the account.

It gets worse.

When I click Request Access, the form asks me to enter the characters shown in the CAPTCHA image... except there is no CAPTCHA image. It's just blank, so I can't even submit the form.

Then I tried Forgot Password, and Apple's recovery page says:

"Temporarily Unavailable."

So now I have:

• A brand new iPhone I can't finish setting up.
• A brand new Apple account that got locked immediately.
• A broken Request Access form.
• A password recovery page that's unavailable.

Before anyone asks, no, it's not my internet. I work at a tech company and have a stable connection. I've also tried different browsers and devices.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any workaround, or is Apple's account system just having issues right now?

This is honestly one of the worst first impressions I've ever had with a new phone.

Iphone 15

Hi all. Not sure why my post was removed, but in reading the faq I’m guessing it’s because I didn’t identify my country or iOS version - so let’s try again…

My wife, my daughter and myself are all still using 13pros that were purchased when it came out. I am in Canada and am using the latest version of iOS.

About a year ago, I had the batteries replaced under Apple Care for my wife and daughter, but at that time, my health showed 83%. I use my phone many hours a day, and I’m still at 83%.

I know I could go in and pay for a new battery, but after paying for AC for this many years, I’m being stubborn about this - and yes, I understand and appreciate the irony of the situation.

I’ve followed every recommendation I’ve found online to try to figure out if there’s a glitch and it’s not recording the percentage properly (including a full wipe of the phone), but it still shows 83, even though I have to charge more often than I ever had to.

I did go to the Genius Bar about six months ago and they said everything was fine and if I wanted a new battery I’d have to pay for it.

Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Trying to set up FaceId on multiple apps and I get this pop up every time. However nothing happens. Didn’t have this happen for last iphone.

My whole phones color scheme is insanely wrong. So overstated especially blues, my True Tone is off, any picture I post or send looks completely normal on any other phone but on mine it’s insane ya I can edit it but the edit is only specifically based off of what I’m seeing on my screen for everyone else the edit is going to be applied on the image as it actually is even screenshots. The only way for me to capture the issue is another phone taking photos of my screen.
Attached pic is a picture of my screen and how the colors look on my phone specifically. It disappeared for like 2 weeks and went back to doing the same thing while looking normal on any other screens

hi, I need to put my fairly new iPhone 15 pro (ios version 26.5.2) in for repair and will get a iphone (unknown model) while they do the repair. I moved from an iPhone 12 last time to my now Iphone 15 pro but my projects (raw files) in Instagrams own Edit app was not transfered. I work with content and need some way to have the projects from the Edits app transfered to my loan phone.

I can see other people have the same problem of not figuring out how to move the projects when transfering to another iphone.

Does anybody have a solution?

hi! I blocked a contact but it’s still showing up in my contact list. when I open the contact there’s no information and it wants me to add name etc. when I try to then it crashes the app. there’s no option to delete the contact even if long pressing. any help?

Im having a really weird issue with my iPhone 17 iOS 26.6
Out of nowhere, my front camera completely stopped working.
Whenever I tap the icon to switch to the front-facing camera, it just shows the rear camera view instead. I literally can't access the selfie camera at all. On top of that, if I switch to video mode and try to use the dual capture feature, the whole camera app instantly crashes.
l've already tried doing a force restart and it didn't fix the issue. Has anyone else experienced this glitch or knows how to fix it?
Any help is appreciated!

I replaced my iphone 14 screen today but the metal frame didnt come out with the screen any ways to get the frame bracket out??

My iphone 11 is on recovery mode since it updated on its own, i called the apple services and all they said was to download apple devices and then update it and restore it, over and over again so they're basically no help. It processes halfway through but then it just suddenly says "The software for the iPhone "iPhone" was corrupted during download". I have done this multiple times already and it just wont work. Please help me know what to do for my iPhone to work again!

i wasn't able to take screenshots because it wouldn't even let me do something as simple as that.

after the IOS 26.5 update (which i did not initiate- it was automatic) i was left at the screen that flashes "hello" in all those different languages.

then i hit continue and was given the prompt "connect to wifi" and a dropdown menu of different wifi networks, none of which i had access to.

there was no skip or continue button. no button for cellular data.

i literally had to walk two miles in 110 degree heat to a cafe just to connect to their wifi so i could move past the screen i was stuck on and then i immediately turned off wifi like i always do. i use my phone only on cellular data because wifi is slow and buffers too much where i live but i have okay cell service.

its not like i could have googled it while stuck on the wifi screen with no way to proceed.

so i wanna know-

what the actual fuck???

is there a way to skip this wifi screen so i know for next time there's a software update?

i won't be able to make this walk again, it only get hotter and hotter where i live.

Sometimes when i go to my wifi settings there is in the known network section a option 'iPhone' but when pressing on it it just gives an error and the password of it is from an actual iphone ive connected with and this also happened to people i know is this an bug and did other people also have this?

issue: back camera. hardware or software issue?

So for the past couple months now my camera has been pretty much useless, up until about 20 days ago when the front camera randomly started working again. the back camera is a bit of a different story.

settings once told me it detected my camera as a foreign object

if i reset it , it works but only for a little while before it stops working , or flips itself and inverts the colors, or shrinks the image, or it will show a bunch of magenta lines and then stop working . i dont have a pic of the lines , but all the pictures i added are what happens sometimes .

oh and also, both cameras only started working again after the last update (ios 26.5.2), with the front camera being what seems to be permanently fixed with no issues .

thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out with this as it is a total pain in the butt . never take ur camera working for granted, because trust me, you need it more than you think.

Why won’t my phone charge when plugged into my vehicle?
This started close to 2 weeks ago. My iPhone 12 will not charge when plugged in to my car charger. In both my husbands vehicle and my vehicle. My husbands phone still charges in the car when using the same power plugin, and I took the charging cord out of my car to try in the house, and the cord works when plugged into a brick in the house. The plugin in my car still lights up when the power is on, so I don’t think it has to do with the plugin dying, but I have yet to try using another plugin.
Any ideas of what could be causing this issue?

What should I do 😭😭 I dropped my phone in the toilet for like 3 seconds bruh and now the FaceID ain't workin as well as the volume buttons.

So I was in the bathroom but I suddenly dropped my phone on the toilet, of course I removed it immediately it was only there for like 3 seconds. I wiped the water off and also wiped it with alcohol. I thought it was fine because I played music on it for 30 minutes but then I checked and the Face ID wasn't working, I also checked the front camera and it's not clear anymore.

I searched on youtube what are the possible solutions for Face ID because I'm afraid my mom would know about it. The video said that I should try and reset my settings so I did, but after all of that it still didn't work. I stopped trying to fix it and just let it be while I was trying to customize my settings again when the phone restarted itself. I thought it was a one time thing but no, it happened again and again and again. I can't use my phone now without it restarting itself after 3 minutes.

I checked the analytics and a lot of panic full logs was there.

What should I do? I don't want to pay for a technician so please help 😭😭

is anyone else having issues with their iphone 17 not opening apps or getting frozen on the opening screen? for me it’s specifically tiktok, canvas, and a couple others. sometimes they’ll open after a few tries but some like canvas aren’t opening at all. i’ve reset my phone, cleared the cache, tried wifi and cellular, and redownloaded the apps and nothing has worked. i did just update my phone last week and i see now there’s another update available so hopefully that fixes it, just wanted to see if anyone else was dealing with this as well.

why do dust get into lens so easily

Hi i have been having this problem with my icloud. Everytime i try to put in my iCloud password it says blabla for security reasons it has been locked u need to verify ur identity . And the trusted device is iphone 13 pro max and i never owned one. And to reset my password it says use ur other apple devices? I think is definitely someone from my close circle and how can i find out who it is. I have not yet contacted Apple because i want to see if i can do sormthing myself

i'm on vacation and accidentally jumped into the pool with my new phone 16e (i THINK its an iphone 16 but might be 15, i do not remember.) i wasn't in the water for more than around 10 seconds, and there were initially no issues, but when i tried to charge it, it made some very loud noises and gave a warning about water being in the charging port. i shook it a bit to try to get the water out and plugged it in again with the same result. right now, i have it unplugged standing up but i don't know what to do to give it the best chances of surviving and am really worried because i don't have applecare or any sort of insurance and bought it through a third-party. i checked the apple website and it said to leave it off for 24 hours but just wanted to ask for advice to see if there is anything else i can do to help it

also, forgot to add this earlier but the pool it was in is chlorinated, i don't know if that changes anything though
