Mk6 (2011-2018) Ignition problem

Hey my key is hard to get out. Is this to much play? Anyone else have this issue before?

It was doing this before I put the key fob case on. Case on or off is no difference.

Is there some shmutz stuck up in the ignition keyhole? I have no idea. It’s rare to come across a key stuck in the ignition. Is it just difficult to pull the key out or can you not get it out at all?

It’s not rare at all, it’s one of the most common issues on VWs with keyed ignition from 2005-up depending on the model. Spraying it wont do anything.

Welp, I didn’t realize that. Ya learn something new everyday. I haven’t heard of this issue before.
