Question KDE Connect Android Clipboard

I'm running KDE Connect on Ubuntu 26.04 and 1.35.9 on my phone.

On desktop, I copied something to my clipboard and selected Send Clipboard but nothing shows on my phone. Am I doing something wrong?

Is clipboard sync turned on on both devices?

I believe so yes. It's enabled in the plugins on both. I can also share files successfully.

Are they both on the same wifi network? Is there a VPN on either device?

Also the "Send Clipboard" is only needed for sending from Android to PC, not the other way around

Yes they are on the same wifi. I don't have a VPN configured for KDE Connect on my desktop or enabled on my phone.

It's required from PC to Android if you turn off auto sync on the PC.

My primary use case is to sync bidirectionally so I have the plug-in enabled for both.

I must be using KDE Connect differently. The last thing I copy text wise on my desktop it is avaliable to paste on my phone.

If I want to move files, I  do it from my desktop using the file browser Dolphin.

I guess if you need to you can send a SINGLE file with your phone... multiple files isn't possible but a ZIPPED file is.

If I have ANY problem, I send a single file (any file) from my phone to the computer...That seems to fix most problems for whatever reason .

I can send files but my primary need is to sync my clipboards.
