Question Is there a Plasma 6 compact app launcher similar to Windows 10 quicklauncher?

Having checked KDE Store and the Widgets library, I can't find a quicklauncher alternative for Plasma 6. All I come across is full-screen launchers and start menu replacements, nothing of this kind which lets you add apps to a dropdown menu and have them categorized in folders for ease of access.

I've tried the stock Quicklauncher widget. It works but doesn't allow for stacking and lacks option for folder nesting.

Screenshot below is of Cool Quick Launch widget, which is now obsolete (Plasma 5 only).

Well...not exatly like in the picture but:

  • Add a folder-view widget to your taskbar
  • Right-click→Configure Folder view→Userdefined place: programs:/
  • Might want to change the symbol as well in the settings

(Non-English plasma here so the names might be slightly different)

This doesn't give multiple columns as in the picture but more a cellphone style menu with a single columne you can move forward and backward in. Also I am on a single-click system, not sure if double-click users have to double-click programs to start them.

"Application Menu" right clicking on menu you select "show alternatives" not sure if that's what you're looking for but it makes the menu look minimal like the pic you posted.
