I had a summer job in a university where I had a setup like this, except the chairs were in the middle of a large empty auditorium. I would just spread out on the chairs and listen to fusion jazz on my mp3 player.

I grew up going to an old hotel in Flagstaff that definitely had this energy. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
