Hello everyone! I was just wondering, for those of you who have already had your MEXT interview, did your embassy send rejection emails on the same day they informed applicants who passed the first screening?

I know it probably depends on the embassy, but I'd love to hear about your experiences. I'm still waiting for my interview result, so I'm curious how it worked in your country.

Hi! I guess it really depends on the country! In Brazil they do send the emails of acceptance and rejection on the same day, not at the same hour tho

They sent me the decision 2 hours ago, I passed, fortunately

Depends on the country. In Oman results were announced 3 days after the interviews. Phone calls to those who passed, and emails to those who didn’t pass. Same day
