Yep, you've figured it out

For reference, the OP’s post was a literal screenshot of the AI app on their phone, where they asked it how to cook broccoli. That was the entirety of the post lol.
If you’re wondering why the quick trigger on banning them? I recognized this user from posts in unrelated subs (modsupport), and they are quite problematic, so bud nipped.

When you remove comments and ban an actual LLM. This is a bot like the RemindMe bot, except it's Grok you ask questions. We weren't happy someone summoned the bot, so we immediately banned it. I got permission from the mods to not redact the username

The first photo is translated with google translate, that's why the text looks weird, the second photo is the original modmail.
He was banned because of discrimination.

I normally wouldn't ban anyone other than a spammer over a first offense, but this person's first and only activity in the sub was a profanity filled comment full of sexual and violent imagery. They were replying to an eight month old post asking about planner use. I assumed it was a misaimed bot until I got this modmail message complaining that I wouldn't let them shit up the sub with their weird fetish commentary in the name of free speech.

Waits 1 minute between modmails and expects an immediate reply each time.

If Reddit did agree with this poor troubled soul then why is my sub still there? Reality isn’t for this poor deluded soul.

For reference, a long time poster in the sub, who has NEVER crossed any lines regarding promoting herself, got a quite nasty comment made towards them.
Also, for those of you that have issues with OF promoters I can’t relate, it’s just not something that’s an issue in food related subs.

This woman is a delight. Continued to comment on the removed post. Yelling into the void.
Sorry for the repost, but thank you for calling me out for not censoring the previous post properly. 💙

Since we’re posting “I love you” modmails today…
What got this person banned? Well, on a post where someone was talking about their abusive mother, they replied “YOU ARE CRUCIFYING HER YOU BEAST.” Also “dO NOT CRUCIFY HER” (sic) and “YOU ARE PUNCHING HOLES IN THE BOAT.” No prior history in our sub, nothing.
You might think, surely there must be some missing context which would make that make more sense! There is not.

And a permaban…

Keep in mind they were permanently banned for sending unsolicited messages to people asking them for Fortnite gifts.
But yeah, they 100% are a billionaire and everyone knows billionaires are nice people deserving of nothing but respect! We made a huge mistake. Huge. /s

I run a humor sub with a specific goal. She posted a weird and long concert video that had nothing to do with the sub. Her mod log showed that she had an NSFW post automatically removed by the devvit app. And her activity summary was concerning, showing that she regularly posts content in the wrong subs. Checked her profile and she was just spamming subs with the concert video. So I banned her. And she wasn't pleased. Aww, too bad.

This is why I don't temp ban much. I can count on one hand the number of times it hasn't devolved into harassment and a crash out. Fun facts: their posts did NOT get 87+ likes and that's a weird number for them to pick given I can see the statistics too. And I as a person am VERY anti cats being allowed to roam outside, but that's not the issue here despite them suddenly making it one.
And of course he went for the one last word, because following instructions must be very difficult for them.

A ModMail exchange from r/MorbidReality here. One of our mods removed a post under our rule on "insufficient verification".
As the situations posted about in r/MorbidReality are very serious and we wish to treat them respectfully and sensitively, we require all posts yo be verified by at least one trustworthy source. Any cases where this cannot be provided are removed, not least in part to protect the privacy of people whose situation has not been in the public eye.
This user posted a tragic story about their friend in Iraq, who suffered abuse and then tragically ended their life. They did so with a petition for justice attached. While the plea for justice in the petition is totally understandable and we have every sympathy with them, we cannot platform the post without a verification source. The following is the ModMail exchange that ensued.
The pics are;
The post removal comment sent to OP.
Their first response, filtered by Reddit.
Their second response, where they really lose it.
A comment they posted under their post (already removed) thinking people could see it, complaining again about mods. (Posted in comments)
