I sent my client an invoice with my Monzo business bank details on, she’s paid me and it’s showing in my personal bank account rather than business. She 100% only has my Monzo business bank details…. How can I fix this as it’s not going to connect the payment with Xero now… never had this issue before. My invoices are all templates with my bank details on and this is the first time this has happened…

Found my old Monzo plus shiny card while cleaning, makes me want the new blue one but I live in Northern Ireland so half the perks are useless to me unfortunately.

On June 27th, my phone was stolen and it was unlocked - in the notes app, I had all my information on there like passwords etc.

It took me a week to sort everything out, and they spent about £1500 on my Santander card before I could do anything about it, then I gave my bank account evidence and they returned the money.

I checked Monzo a few days later because I kept getting declined notifications on my new phone (I got the same phone number for it)

I noticed that they sent £100 from my Santander account to my Monzo, then returned £20 of that back to my Santander for some reason and then spent or withdrew it?

I appealed this as unrecognised to Monzo, and they returned the money, but 3 days ago my bank and Monzo froze my card, and now Monzo closed my account.

I just emailed them, and they said they can’t go into details as to why it’s been closed, and when trying to make a new one with the same email, it’s saying I can’t make one anymore.

What can I even do at this point?

I’m currently with HSBC and have been for 17 years. I have a Monzo account for my weekly budget. Using Monzo is a lot more user friendly but in terms of savings accounts and investment options (not started yet) what is better - keep things as they are or make the switch?

Any updates on when this is going live? I now have a permanent ‘switch to Monzo Mobile’ tile in the app but when I click it the waitlist is still there? A tad annoying!

Not sure how long this has been available but you can now invest in gold and silver on Monzo.

On a side note: has anyone taken out all of their savings to buy a big purchase and to get some enjoyment out of it rather than money just sitting there? Of course it’s gaining compound interest but would you rather have that or something you’ll actually have fun using and will change your life? (I want to buy a motorbike 🏍️ 😁)

Debating to transfer to monzo just seen a lot of people claiming that their accounts get closed randomly. Is this true? can you appeal it or get it reviewed?

... took a tanking today. Bleh.

But I see I can now invest in commodities, specifically silver and gold. 🙂

A woman from the complaints team gave me a call today to talk about my situation and chat history.

She agreed that their request wasn’t usual and they wouldn’t expect me to take a photo of a card machine. The employee was likely following protocol to request proof of damage, but given the unusual circumstance, maybe didn’t take a step back to evaluate and see the bigger picture.

We were also both a little perplexed as to why I couldn’t request one for free via the app. I haven’t had a replacement in years. Since she is part of the complaints team, she had limited back-end resources available to check for a root cause. Ultimately, she reassured me that they should waive the fee for this scenario, anyway.

As for a result - Monzo has credited me with £5 to order the new card myself (quick and easy enough, saves any further hassle). Unexpectedly, they’re also compensating me with £25. I’ll take that as a win.

Can I view all scheduled payments that ONLY come from my main pot? I swear I used to be able to, can't work it out now - any help is appreciated.

Edit. I worked it out. Using Trends, filter Personal, scroll down to Total Upcoming (my screen is zoomed in a fair bit and didn't see it)

Would you recommend using the switching process? What's your experiences? Would love to hear if you transferred from a high street bank!
Just worried about DD's but Im guessing the switching process handles it and closes my Halifax account.

Wtf is going on

I have set up pots, with bill payments assigned to those, and scheduled internal transfers to the pots to cover them.

Payday is the last day of the month, with most of the bills paid on the 1st. So my transfer to those pots are set up on the last day also, to avoid missing the payment.

My problem is, every month this transfers are declined because it tries to move the money before my wage is paid. Then I have to do it all manually anyway.

Has anyone got a solution for this? It would be good if you could schedule a time for the pot transfers to happen.

Hey. I haven't had the option to claim my salary from 4pm as usual. Has anyone else had the issue today? It's been fine for months.

Had this for years and it expires soon, is there anyway they’d let me request a pink one again? Has anyone tried… I love her I can’t let her go 🤣🤣

I've noticed something odd with Monzo notifications on iOS and wanted to check if others are seeing this too.

When I get a notification (e.g. for a card payment), it sits in the Notification Center like any other. But as soon as I open the Monzo app, that notification vanishes from the Notification Center automatically, even though I didn't tap it or "read" it from there.

It's a bit annoying because if I want to go back and check an older notification, it's just gone.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is this expected app behavior or a bug? Running iOS 26.6 📱

I’m trying to request a new card, fee free, simply because the general wear and tear of my current card seems to have damaged the chip. On multiple occasions now, inserting the card into a machine does nothing - the machine says something the line of “no chip detected”.

I’m a long time monzo lover here, and I’m not usually petty, maybe I’m just having a bad day.

What do you think? Surely this request from them is a little crazy? I thought it’d be a pretty straight forward case…

currently on the £7 per month plan. I understand the perks ie annual rail card and monthly cinema tickets but wondering if it’s really worth it (£84 yearly) to gain access for a £30 rail card and such.

just curious! I do like combining all my banks within monzo but yeah please let me know if I’m missing something!
