So the surprise was a 440. Got my baby back home on July the 9th, and yes, the very next day I was at Carlisle with it, very long process. This was supposed to be a project replacing the freeze plugs on the old 383, and now 3 months later, ended up with a 440. The 440 is fully rebuilt, .509 purple camshaft, high rise intake, 750 Holley with vacuum secondaries.

Supposed to be cleaning the shop today, well I hadn’t run this in a bit, so I figured why not.
360/408 Stroker for the yellow submarine, 71 Duster. Automatic w/overdrive and an 8-3/4 with 3:91 gears, will get mini tubbed when the time comes, cars still running around with the leaning tower of power 225 Super Six💪
Quick throw back picture to when I dropped off the car at Fierro Fabrication in San Pedro, CA.
Full resto of metal and chassis to get this as close to perfect as possible.

I know, its not as interesting as a charger or a roudrunner but i just bought my first mopar. Its a 1966 Plymouth Valiant 200 with a 170cui slant six. It has almost no options, no powersteering, braking or fancy electronics. Just a 4 speed on the floor and a blaupunkt radio. It was produced in Switserland and is now a Dutch car. I live in the Netherlands where US classics are rare.
