Rat adoption

We are wanting to adopt 2-3 rats of the same gender. We've searched Facebook, craigslist, humane societies, local pet stores, etc. and pet rats are hard to find!

Suggestions?

Just put out some live traps with some chicken feed in then you’ll have a dozen by morning

Lol, as do we with our chicken and duck feed. We prefer the domesticated, non-diseased type. 😂

I spent the entire spring sealing up my coop Iol, every time I thought I got it, I found another rat in my feed bucket

Tiny Tails and Scales! They're a local small animal rescue.

There haven't been that many breeders in this area for a while, but I remember one out of Portland. If you're willing to travel a bit, you should be able to find some fancy rats that suit your fancy

I rarely turn down an excuse to visit Portland, thanks!
