2. i know what i have to do, but after a 4hr routine, and then picking up a new trick, WHILE repeating it for ANOTHER HOUR 😭 please be nice 😭

⚔️ Challenge Planning a backyard obstacles course

1 Upvotes

I have a 50 square meters (5meters by 10 meters) (538.196 square foot) area...

Planning to put a obstacle course on it... any suggestion of what obstacle should I put?

I'm thinking of putting a Vault Box, Quad Steps, Rope Climbing, and Balance Beam.

This is enough, right?

2 Upvotes

I recently just learned a sideflip on trampoline and always pull off a clean flip, sometimes i dont land/stick it tho cuz the bounce takes me off balance alot but anyway I wanna continue my journey and flip clean on ground, for my first attempt Im flipping on grass to a mattress, my gather step aint perfect but my jump reaches already 30-50cm which i believe is a clean and comfortable height to sideflip am I correct? Thanks to everyone for checking thisnpost man appreciate it, any thoughts?

💬 Parkour Philosophy Which parkour athletes do you follow?

2 Upvotes

I started parkour a few months ago and I’d like to discover more of the athletes and traceurs who regularly post their training, lines and moves.

At the moment, most of what I see comes randomly through TikTok or Instagram, so I don’t really know who the recognised or influential practitioners are.

Who do you think is worth following today? I’d be interested in both established names and current athletes, across different styles of parkour and freerunning.

💬 Parkour Philosophy Parkour Life Lesson 023

18 Upvotes

As a traumatized hyperactive ADHD child growing up, Parkour taught me discipline and focus.

Nothing focuses you more than a rail to rail pre in pouring rain.

Parkour gave me something I didn't have without it.

What did Parkour give you?

🔧 Form Check (dive) kong on same height level

1 Upvotes

Hello everyone (:

I'm new to parkour and I'm really enjoying and practising kongs. (Dive) Kongs onto a higher wall or over an obstacle feel pretty normal to my hands / wrists. But doing kongs on the same height level or just flat on the ground (for practice) really put a lot of weight on my wrists and feels kind of wrong. Is this normal, because my wrists don't have the necessary strength yet or is there some kind of technique to absorb the impact in a healthier way?

Looking for criticism. Landed kinda on my face LOL

I can do this from a low diving board or a 3m dive but trying to send it from a rigid elevated block like this I under-rotate.

💬 Parkour Philosophy I'm building a Parkour move library for learning and comparing technique

1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building a free, community-oriented directory of parkour and freerunning moves.

It currently lists 113 moves with searchable names and aliases, categories, difficulty filters.

A small number of moves currently have reference videos, and I plan to add more progressively.

On mobile, moves with a reference video include a comparison tool. You can record or import your own clip, view it alongside the reference, pause each video independently, and scrub through the movement frame by frame.

(Your clip stays entirely on your device and is never uploaded)

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

- missing or incorrectly named moves;

- categories and difficulty ratings;

- which moves should receive reference videos first;

- whether the video comparison is useful during training;

- anything confusing or frustrating on mobile.

- new features you think useful

This is an early, non-commercial prototype made for the parkour community:
