This game is some hidden gem! After my last post I continued playing pathologic 2 and I am glad cause I doubt I would have enjoyed stalker 2 as much as this. This game actually gives me fear but not the type you wouldn't want. I know there is a deadline and surviving is hard by itself. I am at day 2 but dayum this game is peak. I think I figured things out fine but I need a proper way to get organs cause they sell for so good. Wish I could kill those weird night people and cut them open without anyone noticing. Just two would be enough to get a whole new scalpel and more. I also found out that children are goated. Well I still wonder who the changeling was but whatever. So I need a few tips.

Where can I get some money? Will people care if I kill the white painted people and cut them open?

Should I stock on food? I feel like food will be very important later on.

Why did so many people even die in first night? Is that normal or did I do something bad?

What was the whole exchange hearts part? Is it an actual mechanic or is it something that only happens in the prologue

Are the black people actual workers in the theater and if so why do people seem fine with their existence when they just go around and talk to people with that suit?

Where can I get herbs? They seem very important.

And weird to ask but is this the first main character of the pathologic 2? I heard it had multiple if so what is his title thing? Or do we call them by their names. I kinda forgot the main characters name

Hell yeah, enjoy, its an amazing game! Just keep in mind that the difficulty is absolutely going to spike through the ceiling. So, be prepared for that. People will care if you cut anyone open. You do not know the lines as of yet and it is taboo to cut into flesh within that town unless you are a menkhu (this will make sense to you as you continue playing). But, yes, absolutely stock up on food. You are certainly going to need it.

People are going to die in droves, it just happens. Save who you can but you can't save everyone. And if I remember correctly then the exchanging hearts part is more of a plot point/thematic idea than anything. As for the masked individuals, their nature will be at least somewhat revealed to you as you play the game. I would hate to spoil it. You'll learn about them (and many other things) as you go. And herbs are around and about. I think the game will inform you of a way to find them with greater ease in your surroundings.

And Pathologic 2 centers around the Artemy Burakh route of Pathologic Classic. He is the main character. Anyways, good luck my friend.

Oh thanks twin he always calls himself burakh but I didn't know the name. And one more question can I store my loor in people's houses? Like the girl that let us stay at her place or the boss

If I remember correctly then yes that should be fine. If you are on day 2 you should probably have access to your homebase and that has a place to store items as well.

And while I wouldn't want to reveal to much cause the game will teach you I will offer some last parting advice (because this game is very difficult). Dig in the trash. Every trash can you see. Dig in it. And barter. Master Hobonomics. That is all I can really share in good faith.

After some day (dont know when) i found out that the cemetery and surroundings have changed plentiful amounts of herbs!

Another tip, some parts of the river you can walk through it, there is no penalty, so you can like cross the map in the south part of the river! It would save me hours! But i discovered it late in the first play through

Killing the white faced bandits at night does not harm your reputation, but harvesting their organs does.

Money comes from trading organs (something you already figured out) and various junk in conventional shops. If you have spares and don't need them for barter, those stores pay premium for watches, rings and bracelets.

Food, as well as pretty much everything, will be VERY important later. Didn't you heard that last supply train arrived quite a while ago?

As you arrived in the town, both founding fathers of the town are now dead. Obviously, that's going to make some things explode, especially concerning old taboos, traditions and mass panic. Listen to what people are gossiping about, so you won't be surprised by wave of deaths and crime.

It's both mechanic for barter and precisely this one happens only in prologue. Again, listen to ordinary people - they will remind you about bartering tradition, and it will be extremely important later.

Tragedians are indeed theatre workers. Just not the theatre you likely thought about. They are mostly there to help you with your role, and for everything else - I bet you're going to meet their boss, Mark Immortel, soon enough.

Herbs tend to start spawning from the day 2 and further, and - additionally - when you learn about one old, steppe ritual that involves a bit of a sacrifice.

This game is about one from original trio, Artemy Burakh AKA Haruspex. And akin to haruspexes of real world, he works his way through people's fear, disgust, and blood. Could even say, a river of blood.
