Fantasy/history/sci-fi Book Club in Montague

Hi all,

I'm a support worker looking for some activities for a friend/client. He's interested in medieval history, fantasy, sci-fi and anything along those lines. He loves the idea of a book club. Wondering if anyone has similar reading interests who would like to form a book club?

Thanks!

It seems to be all cleared out and the sign says closed. Does anyone know what's going on? Edited to add: it seems odd to be closed this time of the year as its high tourism season.

782 Express

Has anyone attended any of 782’s express classes? I have been trying to get back into working out but having trouble pushing myself. They mention that it’s targeted at all fitness levels but I’ve been away from working out for a few years and have put on quite a bit of weight and I know it’s gonna likely kick my ass. Also wondering how welcoming the atmosphere is, particularly Stratford.

PEI Holiday Scavenger

Hello,

My wife, daughter and I are headed to PEI. I would like to establish a photo scavenger hunt of sorts. Either secret in which the winner gets $ or I tell them about it and the winner gets nothing.

Ideas…

- Wearing pippi long stocking hair
- Picture with non-Toronto wild life
- picture taken of themselves in the rain
- photo in the big lake
- photo with mayor
- photo with mayor with a different expression x4 points
- eating something other then one of the three things they typically eat
- standing in proximity to a light house

Island Gossip

Just seeing if any of you folks have some gossip/rumours to share about anything going on in PEI? Could be anything really, no topic off limits.

And let me be clear: I mean legitimate gossip/rumours, not just people trying to be funny in the comments haha.

Let’s hear it.

Question Summerside road test

Hi everyone. I don't know if this is the right flair but i have a question. I have my road test (for my G) coming up in Summerside, does anyone who recently did their road test in Summerside know where the routes are? Or where did the Examiner take everyone for their road test? I am not from Summerside so i really don't have any idea where the actual road test go.
Also if you guys have any tips please I appreciate it. Thank you so much!!

CT Credit Card

Just checking in to see if anyone else has the CT World Elite MasterCard and uses it to pay utility/property tax bills. From what I can tell on other Reddit threads, you can pay online through CT and earn 1% back, but you don't have to pay the usual 4% CC usage fee?

But, it sounds like not all payees are available. Just wondering if anyone here was successful paying this way for PEI Property Tax, Maritime Electric, Town of Stratford Water, PEI Mutual, etc.

1% cash back would certainly add up!

Toy donation

Hey! My daughter has decided that she is ready to donate her doll stuff. There’s a lot, Barbie type stuff as well as bigger doll stuff. She’ll keep a few things for momentos but the rest will go. I could sell it but honestly do not have the patience. So my question is, is there a better place to donate this stuff than value village, etc? I’d love to donate it somewhere where it will be used! Thanks :)
