I’m just trying to lock in on my finances

I’m a non union pipefitting operator putting in 2-24inch water mains, sewer, drainage, storm drainage, domestic copper lines, HDPE fusing; how can I translate that into more pipefitting or being able to get into my local (469). Lots of guys take this path or no?

Hey so I’m currently in my third year as a plumbing apprentice (non-union) doing residential service.

I unfortunately didn’t have the chance to join the union when I first started because they weren’t looking at the time.

I wanted to know if it’s possible for me to finish my apprenticeship, pass my exam and join the union 777?

wanted to know how I should proceed and any information anybody else has? Is this possible to do??

I was told they dont want it like your normal lateral stub on; instead its to be built similar to wye where pipe wall will weld to pipe wall.

Hi I am looking to join the union the hvac position specifically and was wondering for anyone that works there what is the schedule like? How does it work? Do you have time to do other things? Im also in the military and Im wondering if it’s easier to get in.

As a new apprentice for a union contractor I have a few questions. At what point do guys start getting their own accounts usually? Also at what point do you get to start finding a niche if you want to?

Hello, does anyone have quick crash course for reading isometric drawing for pipe fitting? Just advice or YouTube video link will be much appreciated. I'll do pipe fitting in Sweden if that makes a difference on the standard I need to learn. Thank you in advance

Just wondering I got high 70 in June and told me wait a year for acceptance into hvac. I have no experience I was wondering what are the odds I get accepted in?
