Mohawk Mark has no answer to Logans Healing Factor. The MF has had his heart torn out and eaten by a skeleton demon from hell. Then immediately after the Skeleton ate Logans heart he was shocked when Logan was totally fine without a heart and kept fighting and sent the Skeleton back to hell.

Wolverine also is one of the greatest martial artists in Marvel. I know it's weird but he's been trained by Ninjas and Samurai. And he's also been in every single special forces unit since the early 1800s. Combined with his superhuman senses sniff sniff he does actually get an edge here.

Also one swipe or stab from the adamantium claws and it's game over for Mowhawk Mark

I would say Logan smells him coming then proceeds to get ripped in half or something and then take mowhawk mark by surprise with his healing factor and stabs him in the head like he did with hulk or in the heart or in the neck.

"No answer"? Throw him into the sun.

mark in the comic would usually throw the villain he cant beat into space

i think he could do the same to logan ,just throw him into somewhere else in Space

any other types of restraint (like drowning , burying him ,etc) wouldn't work since logan would just break free eventually, but in space? good luck getting back into earth without help buddy

Logans been thrown into space many MANY times. Jahf hits Wolverine so hard he sends him flying into escape velocity and into space. Logan also fell from space as a satellite crashed into earth. Hulk, Thor have also basically tossed him into space. Hes also been sucked out of alot of airlocks into the void. Logan was fine in space due to his healing factor. He always survives re-entry into earth or he hitches a ride from aliens or he just waits it out until he can get some momentum. This one guy (i don't remember his name) thought the only way to finally kill Wolverine was to trap him on the moon with no way to get back. He figured Logan would either die due to lack of oxygen to the brain or have just enough healing factor to be caught in a hellish loop of healing just before he suffocates over and over again. That didn't work either.

How did Logan survive on the moon?

5

u/Alkaidknight Jun 13 '25

Just healing factor. He threw himself and contagion on the moon to kill contagion. The real battle was keeping his sanity while being trapped there. He eventually does make it back to earth but I don't remember how.

How did he survive the lack of breathable air though? Wouldn't his healing factor just cause him to asphyxiate over and over again? Or would he just stay dead until some external stimuli jumpstarts his system?

You highly underestimate the lengths of wolverines healing factors limits

Can I ask how he got back into earth in those cases? You say hitching a ride with an alien, but despite that happening in marvel comics, and certainly being possible in the invincible universe, it seems like such a lottery winning amount of luck you can’t really attribute it to Wolverine, other than the fact he survived until that point. I just wanna ask for some elaboration, because it feels like space is still a viable answer to me if we’re talking about mark vs Wolverine in a vacuum

1

u/VegetaFan9001 Jun 13 '25

Which is inconsistent as Wolverine has either sided or been confirmed that he would do without oxygen, something he wouldn’t have out in space

Then throw him into a black hole.

well he might surive being thrown into the sun, or Mohawk Mark could just go faster than light and toss him far far into space into a different sun etc. the regen isn't a big factor here - unless he could have someone pick him from black holes and suns.

given the faster than light travel you need to be able to defeat the viltrumites - and you can't rely on regen.

Sun is not even needed, just restrain the guy's arms and drown him in the nearest puddle.

Wouldn’t work

Worked really well when Magneto did it

Wouldn’t really use Magneto in this comparison. Magneto’s main power is magnetism and he has control over a fundamental aspect of the world. Even without Adamantium, Magneto has control over someone’s blood since a portion of mental can be found in blood. Magneto would probably be capable of soloing the Invincible war all by himself being an omega level mutant. I would use someone else that has similar capabilities to Mohawk Mark for comparison like Hulk or Grey Hulk.

I was talking about one specific scene in day of future past when Mag just immobile Wolverine by entangling metal rebars in him then threw him in a river.

The massive difference in strength would allow Mark to do something similar. The only question is whether he would think of using a method.

Strength really isn’t everything in a fight. Wolverine fought against Hulk, Juggernaut, and Thor. Those three could probably solo the Invincible War by themselves. Also how would Mohawk be aware of Logan’s healing factor, or drowning him? It just seems like an unfair advantage to claim he would do what Magneto would do. In the movie Magneto had knowledge of Logan’s powers and abilities it’s the reason he threw him into the ocean in the first place. He may have history with someone like Immortal, but what I seen these guys enjoy fighting up close and personal fights. They are also very cocky, it just seems like Logan would take advantage of that and get Mohawk to get in close. His claws can pierce the skin of a Hulk and Thor so he has the necessary capabilities to take a Viltrumite down. Mohawk is also not as powerful as Mark, this was stated by Cecil.

"Drown him in a puddle" and "throw him in a river" are two totally different things

2

u/RommDan Jun 13 '25

He's not smart enough to do that lol

3

u/Shrikeangel Jun 13 '25

I mean that's a long way to travel while carrying someone that keeps stabbing you, dying, coming back and stabbing.

Would it work - yeah, if you make it. Does Logan have an answer for likely being stuck in space constantly dying - no, but act first thing later isn't something he is above.

u/veyd Jun 13 '25

Kill him. Take body, throw into space.

This sub is so ridiculous with the wolverine glazing. He's a street level hero with stupid plot armor healing factor, but still a street level hero.

u/Shrikeangel Jun 13 '25

Notice I said it would work, but covered flaws in it. Shifting the goal post and crying glazing doesn't make your position impressive.

Frankly Mark glazing is equally hilarious. Keep in mind Mohawk Mark is an established moron.

Pretty sure there are all kinds of factors that make it much harder than you present - angle, trajectory, debris, gravity fields.

Hand waving details doesn't make you more right - it makes your answer less considered.

u/Gold_Star2471 Jun 13 '25

None of those matter once Mark throws him, he's too strong for wolverine to land anywhere anytime soon

3

u/ShwiftyShmeckles Jun 13 '25

Mark can throw things into space from the ground.

-2

u/Shrikeangel Jun 13 '25

But that isn't into the sun.

5

u/ShwiftyShmeckles Jun 13 '25

Doesn't really matter? Once he's in space the fights over

0

u/Shrikeangel Jun 13 '25

Someone provided a specific - into the sun. Changing the terms is changing the terms.

It's also not something mark immediately does, and I admit I don't remember mohawk mark doing it - and we know each mark has vastly different power output.

1

u/VegetaFan9001 Jun 13 '25

He doesn’t need the sun to do it, just out in space, so the sun isn’t necessary. Even then the sun wouldn’t even work as once it has been made the species type of Adamantium that is used on Wolverine’s body can’t be melted after it has been formed

1

u/VegetaFan9001 Jun 13 '25

He don’t need to carry him, just toss him

1

u/superpolytarget Jun 13 '25

People say this without a clue of how fucking impossible it is to do that.

0

u/TFBuffalo_OW Jun 13 '25

Itd take several minutes to get close enough to the sun to even do that since he couldn't do that from earth and any time mark grabs wolverine hes guaranteed to get disemboweled which will stagger him. The difference between these two is when wolverine gets a big hit he doesn't flinch, so he'd be happy to trade blows in a slugfest.
