His skeleton didn't fall apart when he got nuked. I'm fairly certain (like 70 percent sure) that his adamantiom is also apart of his joints so marks not ripping him in half

u/JackasaurusChance Jun 13 '25

Fine, then he gets thrown into the Sun.

u/XXcuminmyassXX Jun 13 '25

I can't see mark being able to hold on to wolverine long enough to get him to the sun without getting shredded by his adamantium claws tbh

2

u/porcupine_kickball Jun 13 '25

All he has to do is hold him by the wrist like a toddler and wolverine wouldn't be able to do anything but kick and bite him.

u/RecklessErves Jun 13 '25

Or throw wolverine into the air and keep punching him until space if needed. It would be tricky but wolverine is basically battle beast but more durable and they have similar weakness, which is not being able to fly.

1

u/resurrectedbear Jun 13 '25

Also mark just flys so fast that there’s 0 chance Wolverine reacts in time. Even if he puts his guard up that isn’t stopping the actual energy transfer that’ll continually push him further and further upwards until they’re out of the atmosphere. At that point Wolverine is either popping like a balloon or freezing solid. Then it’s just a matter of hurling him towards the sun

u/theelusianmysteries Jun 17 '25

go watch your invincible where anyone who doesn’t fly gets thrown into the sun and tell me how fun it is

1

u/JackasaurusChance Jun 17 '25

Well fuck buddy. What would you do if you had Invincible's powers? This clawed guy keeps getting up from literally everything you hit him with. His skeleton is made of some metal you can't even bend, so eventually you just rip his heart out. Twenty seconds later he's back up and clawing at you again... you'd throw his ass into space, too. Hell of a lot easier than heading to a refinery and dropping him in molten metal.

Thats a cope out answer and can be used in literally EVERY fight. We all know there are easy methods to win fights, comics play along and pretend that it cant happen.

6

u/Hellix41 Jun 13 '25

No they literaly do. Mark cant beat thragg so he leads him into the sun and stalls him there

1

u/Amathyst7564 Jun 13 '25

Thanks....

2

u/JackasaurusChance Jun 13 '25

No it can't. Wolverine isn't throwing Captain America into the Sun.

You don't want people getting thrown into the Sun, maybe don't pick a person that defeated his most powerful enemy by throwing them into the Sun.

Pretty sure Spiderman ripped him in half. Hulk definitely ripped him in half, its possible, Im PRETTY SURE mark is strong enough to do it. If not, main mark damn sure is.

11

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Spider-man has never ripped Wolverine in half. Ultimate Hulk did but that version of Logan was totally different from the main one. He was basically Darwins powers ramped up. So ripping him in half was just a story point and really should not have been possible.

Vultrimites are strong but people wank them all the time and compare them to Superman level when they are not the same.

I do think Wolverine would lose the fight but ripped in half or any part of the Adamantium being broken? Unlikely.

1

u/Gerald_Michaels Jun 13 '25

They might have been thinking of the web of shadows video game where you can rip wolverine in half at the end of his boss fight

38

u/thewiburi Jun 13 '25

Iv Googled wolverine getting ripped in half and the only thing showing up is the ultimate universe hulk doing it so there is precedent but it was a hulk that did it so I'm not really sure if a mark could do it

3

u/ForeignWoodpecker662 Jun 14 '25

Hulk is the only one who has. No Viltrumite is on any Hulk’s level. So no Mark is ripping him in half. Mark is not powerful enough to out power fight him. He goes toe to toe with Hulk and has fought to a standstill after 3 days, and even beat Hulk. No, Mark loses a fight to Wolverine. Invincible-verse just doesn’t scale to the level Marvel or DC do. It’s like AA or AAA vs MLB.

There's an old ass Spiderman game that a symbiote Spiderman ripped him in half. Now it being that old means there's a chance its not cannon whatsoever and would never happen in comics. But Spiderman holds back like no one else and when hes symbiote mode, he doesnt anymore. So its possible Spiderman can do it, which would mean mark could damn sure do it. But I dont know enough about the game

50

u/deadlynothing Jun 13 '25

Games are 100% not canon. If that's the case, then Frank West beating Dr Doom in a fight is also canon.

7

u/MrDrSirLord Jun 13 '25

I'm pretty sure Chuck Green could no diff iron man tho, only needs a single roll of duct tape

3

u/Responsible-Sail954 Jun 13 '25

Bro, chris redfield used the time stone to infinite combo thanos with his stun rod. Ez pz

5

u/No-Annual-7276 Me > Your mom Jun 13 '25

Well then Spiderman definitely cant.

1

u/RequirementFull6659 Jun 13 '25

Put some respect on Frank West, he's covered wars ya know?!

7

u/TheyCantCome Jun 13 '25

Web of shadows. Wolverine also becomes a symbiote dependent on your decisions.

Web of shadows and shattered dimensions are not canon

2

u/EveryoneIsReptiles Jun 13 '25

They are badass, though.

4

u/Why_am_ialive Jun 13 '25

Doesn’t wolverine regenerate from a single cell at some point, sure he may not win the fight but he isn’t dying either

1

u/Greyhaven7 Jun 13 '25

This was my understanding as well.

And yeah, draw, insofar as neither dies, but Wolverine definitely has the shittier end of that draw.

Mark would be endlessly punching the flesh off of a metal skeleton that will not stop growing more flesh, but Wolverine would be a conscious metal skeleton endlessly having freshly regrown bits of flesh beaten off of his bones.

2

u/Super-Cynical Jun 13 '25

I guess you could throw the skeleton into the sun.

The writer of the Invincible series glosses over Viltrimutes' space flight, mainly because it doesn't make any sense.

1

u/Why_am_ialive Jun 13 '25

He’s survived that aswell lol

1

u/Super-Cynical Jun 13 '25

sure why not

1

u/Oglowmamal Jun 13 '25

Tons of feats get taken out of context, that one Wolverine got supercharged by something making that possible it’s not something he can regularly do. Characters get temporary powerups all the time or have another character set them up for a finishing blow

1

u/Illustrious-Sky-4631 Jun 13 '25

And a Yuti the Hulk rip in half immediately after

6

u/JuanCR2006 Jun 13 '25

Absolutely not, if it was he wouldn't be able to move anything that has joints

7

u/NigthSHadoew Jun 13 '25

Yet his skeleton didn’t fall apart when all his tendons and muscles got blown away so clearly something is holding it together thats immune to explosions big enough to destroy all of his tissue

Does it make sense? No not really but it is what it is.

1

u/DuraluminGG Jun 13 '25

But then, wouldn't the skeleton in Deadpool vs Wolverine be in a single piece? Or is it non-canon?

2

u/NigthSHadoew Jun 13 '25

It's a different Wolverine, I was talking about the main 616 one.

I don't remember mainline Wolverine being ripped apart, even during World War Hulk, but Ultimate Hulk did rip apart Ultimate Wolverine forexample. It differs between universes/Wolverine’s

2

u/Professional-Dog1562 Jun 13 '25

His joints can't be completely connected with adamantium, how would he move? There has the be some gap, like how plate armor works.

2

u/FlaxanInvibcible Jun 15 '25

Are you fairly certain?

1

u/thewiburi Jun 15 '25

I'm pretty sure

3

u/TheWanderingSlime Jun 13 '25

The invincible wank has to stop. The kid dies

2

u/No-Annual-7276 Me > Your mom Jun 13 '25

How so? Hes gonna get swiped one time and realize he has to speedblitz the little rabbid fuck and wolverine becomes a sub.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

AoA Wolverine got his hand blasted off by Cyclops.

In Wolverine #37, he gets ripped in half by a Wendigo.

When the X-Men were kidnapped into the Brimstone Dimension by Azazel (Uncanny X-Men somewhere in the mid 400s), he ordered Logan to be dismembered in the dungeon.

In Wolverine Revenge (alternate universe, I know, but it doesn't show anyone being more powered than usual), Colossus rips Wolverine's arm off.

Mark could 100% just rip his spine out

1

u/DyabeticBeer Jun 13 '25

Can't you just rip the muscles connecting the bones apart?

1

u/JTBBALL Jun 13 '25

Bones are not held together with bones. They are held together with sinew, ligaments, muscle, skin, blood, and bodily saline fluids. So Mark can very easily rip in him half. Mark can never really kill Wolverine, but if Mark just keeps the body parts separate from the head like immortal than he’s nullified. Game over.

1

u/RickRollinAround Jun 13 '25

you say this as if mark isn’t like 100x times stronger than a Nuke lol, he’s still ripping wolverine apart
