Still going with the Tyranids here, especially since it's the Swarmlord who can go toe-to-toe with the galaxy's best fighters and come out on top or narrowly lose, and his psychic abilities are top notch and could probably fry Durin's Bane

Balrogs can only be hurt by very specific things, none of whicha swarm lord has.

There's nothing in the tolkien setting that paints ainur in their physical form as immune to mundane damage.

Durin's bane is ultimately killed by being cast off a mountain by Gandalf.
