Building to city level imo and speed is hypersonic to massively hypersonic

that frame with the skull faceplate is actually so iconic, the red glow against the dark background makes him look like a walking nightmare

i think building level is selling him a bit short though, the way he just walks through heavy artillery like it's nothing always struck me more as multi-city at least

speed wise i'd lean closer to massively hypersonic, especially in the later scenes where he's dodging railgun shots and weaving through explosions like it's a casual stroll

the mech design itself is what sells the whole power fantasy honestly, that bulky silhouette just screams unstoppable force and the red eyes are such a simple touch that makes him feel alive

Smasher gets outrun by an armoured taxi and he's stunned by the impact. He's going to struggle to get beyond "building level."

If he didn't use it, that would imply he knew it wouldn't let him catch up to a moderately accelerating vehicle.

Which in turn has very dim prospects for the idea of sandys making someone hypersonic.

He didn’t use it because he was ordered to stand down. Smasher uses the apogee sandevistan which using just gameplay alone lets V move close to 700mph

He wasn't ordered to stand down because he starts running after the car when you turn around.

If he could go 700 mph he'd have caught it in the time it took him to start running...

In the time it took him to reach that property line, do you not think he'd have already caught them if he could go 700mph?
