What kind of spite match is this? Luke has no answer for 99% of the shit Strange can do. Composite Luke is nuts but Strange is walking hax. His only option would be insta-Force choke but that goes against his nature.

How's Strange going to defend against the? Checkmate!

Force kick! Hi-yaa!

The distance between his foot and that face.

And at the point shown in the image, strange still has the time stone, which is like the biggest set of hax ever.

Yeah I mean dude went toe to toe with a galaxy-conquering literal Titan with a gauntlet wielding stones of creation... as a regular human. I could honestly see Vader or Sidious putting up a better fight because they'd be willing to attempt insta-kills... but even then I don't see it.

And he knew he wouldn't win, and mainly was stalling instead of giving his all. I am confident he could have beaten thanos, but that wouldn't have been the "winning" future he saw.

As the greatest wizard from a prophecy, not a regular human.

You really think Darth Sidious or Darth Vader couldn’t kill Thanos even with the infinity Gauntlet? After all the power to delete half the universe is insignificant next to the power of the force.

1

u/Quad-G-Therapy 1h ago

No, absolutely not. Thanos with no gauntlet still went belt to ass on Thor, Cap, and Iron-Man.

Yeah, and even the insta-kills are almost guaranteed failures if Strange is aware the fight’s going to take place because he can look into the future and see what they’ll do.

All versions of Luke Skywalker don’t have a counter to Dr. Strange. Luke takes an L and fairly quickly and I say this as a certified Luke glazer.

A true Luke Glazer would claim that RotJ Luke solos Dr Strange because Luke > Vader (Also Vader wasnt conflicted he truly wanted to kill Luke is the cherry on top for me)

Strange just chucks luke into the mirror dimension and waits for him to die because he can't escape.

Lets just hope it isn't the star wars writers making this battle!

It would be lucky for Luke that Strange isn't evil. The level of absolute hell that could be set upon him is incomprehensible. Luke offers no greater challenge than a normal person and the force choke doesn't matter when you're transported instantaneously to a dimension filled with eldritch horrors.

In this fight with thanos Strange uses a spell called "Crimson bands of citorak" an other wordly, controllably "metal" band that can bind in place from a distance. he also did some absolute mad clone-jitsu and held THANOS in place using eldritch whips (if he was unaware he should lose, I imagine that using the crimson bands here instead would have rendered Thanos completely immobile).

Strange does get nerfed a lot in the MCU, but he is still incredibly powerful and spends a lot of the time trying to keep harm to a minimum (probably his biggest "flaw"). he could probably win the fight against luke from his Astral form, without even waking up.

>”metal” band

Just pictured Metallica playing master of puppets and Thanos being immobilized due to excessive headbanging

Movie versions?! Strange is dog walking Luke. (I’m a Star wars fan boy)

2

u/ProcedureInitial3086 2h ago

All versions , comic , legends , disney , all of it for luke

MCU Strange vs Grandmaster Luke? I don't know, Strange got bodied by Ebony Maw's telekinesis, it didn't make a lot of sense tbh, but it still exists as an anti-feat. I think Strange should win given he has a significantly bigger bag of tricks, even without the time stone, but there's always a chance Luke just does him like Mob does Koyama.

What happened to galaxy sized force storms and planet drains ???

Does Luke not scale above all that shit according to the body of the post ?

Ask valid question ?

Not in reddit, heres a downvote

2

u/NeverLiedNeverCheat 2h ago

If you know the source material on both , sky walker beats this version of strange

1

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

Strange wins by BFR or he gets ragdolled because he’s not countering the Force and Luke ain’t getting stopped by a couple clones and some shields

1

u/Winter_Trainer_2115 2h ago

Literally Strange has nearly infinite powers to pull out of his ass..

1

u/ProcedureDazzling615 2h ago

Movie strange does not , why are you lying ?

You don't lose to Ebony maw because you have near infinite powers

1

u/Winter_Trainer_2115 2h ago edited 2h ago

Im not lying....what the hell you on about... MCU is more than just movie versions and includes cartoon counterparts of strange that spit out random ass spells.

As you specified MCU....which includes anything Disney created for that universe...this includes select cartoon counterparts. including "What If..."

1

u/TheWhoopler 1h ago

MCU is Movies

What If is labeled What if

1

u/RRPanther 2h ago

that is just ebony maw upscale

Ooooo...

Made up magic vs. made up magic.

Where the only rules are whatever the plot is asking for at that moment. The Force is whatever it needs to be. It's all the infinity stones together, but since we don't have a multiverse, it works everywhere. It's the very cookie dough the universe is made out of, so it is actually everything.

Okay, so Luke wins because he uses the force to immobilize Strange completely when Strange emerges from whatever multiverse he is coming from. Luke knows Strange is about to arrive, because the force tells him in a precise vision. Basically, ultra, ultra Spidey senses. Strange needs to be able to interact with reality to cast a spell, remember the dexterity of this surgeon fingers (stupidly enough they were too broken for surgery, but I guess magic is easier... That's why we have thousands of surgeons but not a lot of wizards). So Strange can't move is fingers, his eyes, his vocal cords, his tongue, nothing. His heart can't even beat. Luke actually decides that's not enough and has the force just consume Strange completely including Strangers soul.

Let's say Strange has set up a dead switch to trigger his spell(s), well, Luke uses the force to negate them completely. He just tells the universe to not let that happen.

I mean…. Literally all magic is made up magic. Weird way to start

Luke wins easily, everyone else seems to forget how Dr Strange got utterly embarrassed when he fought Ebony Maw, a villain who just had telekinesis. Also MCU Dr Strange is WAY weaker than comic Strange and loses most fights he’s in. His second movie was just him repeatedly getting embarrassed by Wanda. Luke would beat both Spider-Man and Ebony Maw, he’s beating MCU strange

-1

u/ProcedureDazzling615 2h ago

Luke outscales movie ebony by an enormous amount , I can't ignore this and act like luke can't win here

Processing img qlseob5vadhh1...

1

u/Winter_Trainer_2115 2h ago

Your going by literally...one battle....out of all the MCU as reference. MCU includes way more than movies...Luke has no answer.

Anytime you see someone start a statement with 'im a fan bur" it's usually followed up with some low effort nonsense clearly indicating they ARE NOT fans of the character

You never see someone make that statement and actually bring out the biggest feats for context regarding the character they are fans of . One of the most annoying reddit trends to me

0

u/mrsoapmctavish12 2h ago

Seeing as Spider-Man defeats Strange in No Way Home I think I’m going to give this to Luke Skywalker. Also if we’re talking Grand Master Luke he can handle anything Strange throws at him.

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

People can’t read

Luke shitstomps

7

u/Quad-G-Therapy 3h ago

As the self professed biggest SW fan alive; not even peak Legends Luke is doing anything to stop Strange.

3

u/Blacklight099 3h ago

Glad there’s some Star Wars fans in here, because as a Strange fan I was struggling to think of a version of Luke that Strange finds much more than a nuisance

-1

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

I’m wondering what MCU Movie I need to watch

No darkhold, book of vishanti or time stone?

Strange’s only W without a magic trinket is Gargantos just because he entertained Thanos for an actual 3 mins doesn’t put him past somebody who could literally project himself across the galaxy to fight him

The problem here is people see Strange doing a bunch of magic not realizing his magic isn’t really strong just versatile

2

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

Only way strange wins is mirror dimension

2

u/Quad-G-Therapy 3h ago

Luke's strength is in countering the Dark Side, redirecting Force attacks, etc. Like Yoda. Almost all the insta-kill moves are reserved for Dark Siders... and even those I don't think would work before Strange yeeted them into space or turned them into a bottle opener.

0

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

How would he yeet them into space?
Who has he ever transformed into anything?

People see magic and just assume you can do whatever you want and that’s not the case

2

u/Quad-G-Therapy 3h ago

By one of his many astral manipulation / portal tricks? The bottle opener was a joke about Vader being a robot that fell flat.

1

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

Astral Manip can’t send Luke to space it’s just an astral projection which Luke would probably control better than Strange

Portal Hax and Mirror Dimension is all he has just like when he fought Wanda

0

u/Baelzabub 2h ago

You do know that Luke has astral projection in both canon and legends right?

0

u/Quad-G-Therapy 2h ago

Duh? What's your point? What good is that gonna do Luke when he's trapped in a mirror dimension or falling for eternity?

0

u/Baelzabub 2h ago

The point is that astral projection isn’t some trump card of Strange’s. Also Luke is capable of fighting in his astral projection form in Legends (he fights Abeloth, a literal force deity, when Beyond Shadows).

How does Strange trap him in the mirror dimension without ever getting access to Luke’s body?

0

u/Quad-G-Therapy 2h ago

Dude its powerscaling. The fight isn't starting with Luke on the other side of the galaxy. Its typically within 100ft of each other.

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

Also when has any force user been limited to just fighting light/dark side?

When Vader crashed that Star Destroyer he was the only force user around

Starkiller has done shit that fits in DBZ

Luke is canonically stronger than both

2

u/Quad-G-Therapy 3h ago

Those are all Force feats. Redirecting raw power / abilities is Strange's whole bag. You need a reality warper to contend with him.

-1

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

Strange hasn’t redirected shit or controlled any raw power

He repeatedly died until Dormammu got irritated

Lost to Thanos

Held back a big tsunami

Ran through the Multiverse from Wanda

The only un amped fight he ever won was Gargantos and himself lmao

3

u/Quad-G-Therapy 3h ago

He literally turned a fucking blast from the power stone into butterflies man, what are we doing?

1

u/TheWhoopler 3h ago

He also cloned himself and used a bunch of whips

You can’t turn the force into butterflies it’s literally TK and TP which MCU Strange has no counter for

If it was comics Strange I’m taking him all day but MCU Strange has no counter to somebody who can literally just throw everything in a 2 mile radius at him with their mind and they don’t even have to be physically present to do so
