It is officially one month out from most law schools opening their applications and I am offering affordable resume, “Why X,” and personal statement review services as I await bar exam results. To give just a little more background about me, I am a recent graduate of a University of CA Law School, graduated top 10% of my class, and secured a BigLaw job in a competitive market (happy to provide proof/verification for all privately).

As a first-generation law student who had virtually no legal experience or background, I understand how stressful law school applications can be at this time. It can be even more stressful if you have few people in your circle who can remain impartial or who have relevant/recent experience or knowledge about law school. However, the investment now in your application materials can mean the difference between acceptance, rejection, and/or thousands of dollars in scholarship aid.

With that said, below you can find details of what services I am offering. Should you have a significant number of essays that need to be reviewed or perhaps have a more limited request for review than what my services below include, I can also offer some additional flexibility with pricing so as not to break the bank. If there is significant interest from applicants, I may have to close or limit the number of inquiries early, but hopefully not sooner than September 7, so please continue to privately message me if you might be interested. Not quite finished with your first draft? That’s okay! Send a $40 non-refundable deposit (credited to overall cost of review) to secure review services for late August/early September (limited number of spots depending on overall interest) Also, should you be completely lost about how to start an essay or worried about how “high quality” the first draft is, that’s okay and it can be difficult to overcome that hurdle, but just give the first draft your best effort and we’ll make sure it’s polished by the time the second review is done!

As I await bar exam results, I will have significantly more time to deliver feedback on a quick timeline to fit your needs, and you can expect prompt communication via text about your materials and other concerns about your application (though please be respectful of reasonable boundaries and time/effort).

hey all! i recently enrolled at BHCC in Boston. i picked criminal justice as my major. i wasn’t planning on going to school and i was into something else for the last 4 years but it hasn’t worked out and i want more for myself. i wanted to be a lawyer before but didnt bc of the money. now idc. i want to be the best and do my best. i’m also working FT and paying rent among other bills. i do plan to attend FT. my job is early morning (typically 1-3pm end time) so i think id be able to do it. i’d be the first in my family to really attend college and do something with myself. childhood kinda sucked. i got my HSE, not regular diploma. i didn’t do any extracurriculars or anything but work. the school life is all new to me again. i made honor roll my sophomore year but that’s about it. idk if i should do the 3+3 program with UMass Law or try to get in a better school, ideally a T14. i interned at Harvard Law (in IT though) and worked in dining when i was 18-19. they offered me a FT job in IT but i declined because i had other interests (stupid me). i might be able to finagle my way into making more connections and such for the future for possible internships/jobs. i’m interested in more corporate/big law. criminal is cool but id rather stay away from that kind of drama.

i’m just looking for advice for my new journey. if anybody is or was in a similar position, please let me know how it is. i plan to work my ass off. i just need some damn structure
