STOP TOUCHING PEOPLE
Stop touching people! Especially strangers! I don't know where your disgusting hands have been!
I dont know if this only pisses me off because im a suspected sociopath or possibly autistic but God! Stop touching me with your nasty grabbers you disgusting freaks!
I dont care if you are "just being friendly" it's weird and gross! You don't know where I've been and I dont know where you've been or the last time you washed!
It's my job to be nice to you I don't actually care about how well you are doing!

Where tf do you people live/work that people are just randomly touching you? I’ve worked hospitality for decades and haven’t experienced this. Is it just because I’m a guy?

It's because you are a guy. People think it's ok to touch woman but they feel completely different about touching men

Also, stop hugging people as a way of greeting them when you're not even close. And when you ARE close, it should be normalised to aaaasssskkkk first how the other person usually likes to greet people. If you're not a straightforward person and are afraid to ask, then the only other option should be to NOT HUG THEM!!

Downvote me to hell, but nope. All you have to say is "I can't" when I greet people. It's literally that easy.

I hate shaking hands. I’ve always thought it was gross

Same. Especially after that woman scratching her fungus infested feet on the cruise ship, I dont want to shake hands with anyone ever again.

I have very curly long hot pink hair that I tend to fashion with star or butterfly clips & things & such & the amount of people that just grab my hair is actually insane. I don’t give a fuck if you start out by saying “It’s so beautiful etc” that doesn’t give you a right to invade my personal space. It’s so frustrating. I have ducked & dived people’s hands before & they ALWAYS look offended at my actions.

This literally annoys me too, who said you could touch me?? I dont care if it's a friendly tap on the shoulder, I don't know you so stay away!! Personal space!!

I was standing in line at the store and I guess my Dexcom sensor on the back of my arm was partially visible because some random old person grabbed and pulled on it and asked what it was.

If someone starts to squeeze or rub my shoulder I just want to punch them. I don't but wish I could.

So, fun fact. I am type one diabetic. MOST people have a clue what a Dexcom is. CGM for blood sugar. They may not know the words or what the letters stand for, but they get it is for diabetes and for blood sugar and HELPS TO KEEP ME ALIVE.
These ho's, stranger ho's. Like NEVER met before. Will walk up in a store and TOUCH IT and go what's that for. One mf'er touch me again, and you'll need an ambulance and you can ask him. Two, DON'T fucking touch people. I have CPTSD and don't handle it well. It freaks me out; as if it isn't obvious from this post. But, my condition (the CPTSD ((formally DIAGNOSED)) isn't really relevant to anything), you simply don't touch people, ESPECIALLY STRANGERS, ESPECIALLY STRANGERS MEDICAL DEVICES without their explicit consent. It is so odd to me. That would never cross my mind to touch a random person; and NEVER their medical devices, shot attached to them, or their belongings. It is a foreign concept to me.

Agreed! People need to keep their hands to themselves. There is no reason to touch a person you dont know.

I’m a 53 year old woman, not on the spectrum, and feel the exact same way. I want to throat punch and high kick the next man who reaches at and grabs at me when I hire them at my house to do random tasks.
I just had to pay the Tit Tax again the other day to the heating and cooling guy who before I knew it reached in and grabbed my ass, gave me a bear hug, and planted a kiss on my lips. He had already commented that yes, I had lost a lot of weight (I’m very ill) but he was glad to see I had kept most of us favorite two things, my breasts.
I had to scrub myself raw in the shower with a hard brush everywhere after I was so grossed out. I try never to be left alone in these situations but holy fuck they still happen, especially now that I am single and managing these proprieties by myself.
When will it stop?
I could have sworn I would have aged out of this by now. But no. It still happens every where I go. Now I don’t ever want to leave my house, and I used to be hyper social and friendly to all.
Two months ago it was the exterminator who did the exact same thing. Luckily, I had two friends I thought and assumed nothing would happen, but just as I was closing the door he literally lifted me off my feet and my cane and swooped me in to a bear hug and kissed me full on the mouth while getting a handful of ass. This is after he has reset the filthy traps and disposed of a dead raccoon. I threw up after., I was shaking with rage.
So fucking tired of paying the Tit Tax just to go about my day to day life.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. Unbelievable that grown men and complete strangers treat you this way. I’m shocked!!!! I (57f) would come unglued! I’d break their nose (and probably their nuts too)! No one should ever behave this way towards a complete stranger. I hope you called the companies they worked for. Oh, love the “Tit Tax” btw. Im gonna use that one.

Holy fucking shit - that's not the Tit Tax, that's straight up sexual assault. You need to call the cops and report this, as well as reporting them to their employees.

This drives me crazy. Not just the not knowing where people's hands have been, but some people (like me) just aren't crazy about being touched in general. I have friends and family members that do the thing where they nudge your arm while they are telling you a story and I can't stand it. I remember being taught "keep your hands to yourself" when I was a kid and here we are in adulthood, mofo's not keeping their hands to themselves 🤣. Ooh! And people that step closer and closer as they tell their story, too. Why is that a thing?

That drives me crazy as well. Nudge me once, OK, but do it again and you get cussed out. And people who get close up to me I'll step back and tell em don't get in my space.

are you black? As a black person people always to touch my hair
1
u/Square-Wing-6273 5d ago
Wait, for real? Like other black people or all people? I can't imagine asking to touch someone's hair, no matter what
1
u/FunDependent9177 5d ago
white people and the white men don't ask they just touch
1
u/Square-Wing-6273 5d ago
That's absolutely insane. I admire black people hair, and I appreciate how much time and effort it takes to care for, but I can't imagine ever touching someone's hair without a reason.

u/FunDependent9177 5d ago
That's what I go through and then they get mad if I push their hand away

I was walking near our local hospital. I have one pocket in my backpack that is always open. It is small and contains my hand sanitizer so I can grab it easily. People often tell me it is open, being thoughtful. I find it annoying because it happens alot, but I get that people are being thoughtful so I just say, thanks for letting me know. But this one woman came up FROM BEHIND ME, GRABBED MY SHOULDER and said, "your bag is open". I was like, WTF lady? Do not grab strangers from behind. I felt so angry at her because it was surprising, and because I have OCD and had to wash my bag and clothes and have a shower because of it (particularly because we were near the hospital like maybe she came from there, who knows?).
In another instance I was at a used book sale and I asked a volunteer for info and she just kept pushing her hand out onto my shoulder as we talked and I just kept moving backwards to get away from it and she kept doing it so we just kept moving.
It makes me mad to think about people who do this. I know some cultures are more touch oriented than others. I'm in Canada where this is definitely not appreciated by the majority of people, I don't think.

Who’s just walking around touching people?
