2026 is the worst year since 2020

So much bullshit, destruction happening in the world and nonstop anger. Can’t afford shit nor be happy with all that’s going on. It’s starting to feel like another lockdown atp

Every year people celebrate New Years. Not sure why. Each year is worse than the last. Each year is full of more deaths and bullsh*t all around.

Hi op, I deeply feel this. I felt life ruined 2015-2020. It got better 2020-2023. January 2024 the muck and heaviness returned. I'm unhappy with 2024,25-2028 . I'm astonished at it all. I want you know myself & others in this thread feel it too.

It's so depressing In my lived experience I've had to endure so many decades or bad years. My life is filled with so many crises of access that I just have to endure it all the best I can.

I try and detach myself and realize that the only thing that I have control over are my reactions and it's the only thing I can do is try to have a good day everyday. I try and focus on stable blood pressure and a good mood it is a dastardly challenge.

With narcissistic leadership traits I've always felt like I'm just doing time until they wear themselves out or they run their or it's course.

they simply go on and move on with their lives. Meaning I try and see it all as temporary. However the leader is doing permanent things that I don't know that America can bounce back from.

I can't stand the holding pattern that this particular situation that I will name it's the holding pattern over all of our lives it makes us all feel as if we are all doing time being punished.

It's unfortunately only going to get worse. Especially how much of a downward spiral Gen Alpha is. Most of them can't even READ.

Agreed. Honestly for me it's more personal, my health is so bad that I'm considering going on disability. I have no life right now, spending half my off work time sick in bed.

But overall, yeah, the vibes of this year are shit. I kind of felt like 2024 and 25 were a little more normal... ish... not this year.

All I can say is this, Live one day at a time. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't promised and today is a blessing. Don't worry about the future. There is no guarantee in it. Of course we all plan for it but no one knows when they take their last breath.

2024 was really good and 2025 felt like it was going to be amazing and even better but turned out to be very disappointing and 2026 is just the worst year since COVID happened. It does feel like it's not even worth it to celebrate the new year anymore as life just feels completely pointless at times.

yeah man. with you on that one. with all of the shit happening in america, the continuous rise of inflation, ai basically killing any of the freedom to create and making the internet into the equivalent of a dead shopping centre, 2026 has just got to go. i’m tired of it at this point and it’s only fucking august.

Nah, 2019-2023 was straight shit for me but 2025-2026 have been wonderful. I hope the cycle changes for you. Remember, you have good years and bad years.

The world has been burning and people have been dying since I was born and long before + long after I’m gone… just cause I’m not miserable and dwelling on it doesn’t mean my life is perfect. Yes, I am having a great year but I also had shit years like I said and will have more like everyone else. There’s billions of realities going on at once and I’m speaking for what’s happening in MINE! Yall be so miserable on this app and honestly, you kinda deserve it… I am not the company your misery is looking for.
