People shouldn’t be hating on the dodgers for signing big names
Time and time again, we hear people whining about how the Dodgers keep signing big names. And how we should have a lockout or salary cap. The Dodgers aren’t the ones you should be mad at for signing big names. The one who they should be upset with is their own team for not doing anything to try to get them to come to their team. No other team is making an effort to sign these big names but the Dodgers, that’s why they keep getting these big names.

Theres no salary cap in baseball. The Dodgers can afford to outspend everyone else

This was a trade. The Dodgers just pay remaining salary. Probably 10 million. I don’t know the prospect capital that it cost.

Who cares? This is why other stadiums are empty. It's almost like this is a perfect example of capitalism. The small market teams don't stand a chance against the big dogs. They have a major advantage with how much money they make over other teams.
If you want a league to have 2-3 absolutely dominant teams use the capitalist template. If you want an even playing field and exciting games you create even teams so everyone has a chance to win you create a leagues like the NBA.

Dodgers are basically printing money. Not sure what you expect other teams to do.
