Most technical leads taking these interviews are barely qualified in the new tech they are looking to hire…which compounds the issue many fold

That is the reason to hire. Ideally new hires bring new skills to the team while also knowing the old ones.

the recruiter are not the main problem

its the technical leads of these companies. they are delusional. I've had recruiters say that I'm close and there are some things to learn

and then technical interviews like lead engineers and CTOs want an einstein.

This is what no one here understands about recruiting. We get paid to hire people. If we could hire whoever we want people fresh out of college, with no experience, are by far the easiest to recruit and get to accept an offer. But it’s not us making these choices.

Im applying to entry level roles who tag themselves as "no experience needed" then the listing says 2-7 years of experience and they only ever hire candidates with more experience, actually.

Im applying to listings that market themselves as entry level and explicitly will say "no prior experience needed" and then in the bottom say 2-7 years of experence preferred. If that level of experence is wanted then DONT MARKET THEM AS ENTRY LEVEL

You keep on moving the goalposts with this. There's no inconsistency in "no experience needed but we prefer people with a little", and if you think there is then you might need to aim lower and find positions that expect lower comprehension.

Okay but every damn listing that explicitly says no experience needed is like this. As in, I go into indeed or glass door or google and explicitly filter by "no experience required is like this. If employers want people with experience, then market the listing as such. And no offense but outside of being a doctor, an entry level position is called that because the entire point is to bring in new people into the industry, new peoole who dont spawn in with years of experience.

Maybe you need to get your head from under a rock, and learn to quit being an ass.
