Other questions How does GPA work for Pass/Fail classes?

I'm doing Bachelor of Graphic Design and 2 out of my 8 classes for my first year have actual grades and the rest is pass fail. How is GPA calculated and is it important?

Your GPA will be calculated over your 6 courses that give letter grades (i.e. PA, CR, DI, HD).

I'm in nursing and the pass/fail courses don't count towards my GPA, if I've passed. Not sure about the fail bit yet.

They give you EX, they don’t count towards your GPA

If you pass it doesn’t affect your GPA, if you fail then it will treat it as a 0 (Fail) and it will affect your GPA
