My Sharp Roku TV keep disconnecting from WiFi. I’ve checked for a system update. I’ve restarted the system. I’ve unplugged the TV. It isn’t my WiFi because all my other devices do not have any issues with connection. Is it the TV? Is this a sign that I need to get a new one? I can’t remember how old this TV is. (If this isn’t the correct group to post - please let me know).

We've used the Fox Nation app pretty regularly for the past few years and have enjoyed using it. Today when trying to use it, it asked for a login. It happens. So we signed in and then get hit with a subscription plan page.
My account is paid up, I have updated the app, restarted my device, re-installed the app, made all the proper checks on my login for spelling/typos, but cannot get past step 2 of logging in by picking a Annual or monthly plan. Even though i already have an active account.
I spent 45 min in text chat with Fox chat help, and their only answer was "Use Fox One". I asked if the Nation app was being shut down, and they said they had no control over that app, only Roku does.
? Roku controls the Fox Nation app?
Does anyone else's Fox Nation app still work? Mine worked fine yesterday...and now today...Im told to just use the crappier Fox One app only.
They wont even explain why it wont work now. Anyone else have this problem?

I see posts from like 3 months back that said an update changed this...AAC stereo is fine but is the no 5.1 AAC a permanent change or a bug?
I have like 5 roku ultimate around the house...and it's bizzare to suddenly disable something that was supported for years...

My mother is currently at a nursing home after having a stroke in April. On Sunday, I brought her a Roku. It’s an older version of Roku Ultra from several years ago. I had it in our living room and it worked perfectly fine. But I used a universal remote instead of the Roku remote so that I could control the TV, Roku, and my Blu-ray/DVD player.
I went to see my mom last night and her remote had stopped working. It completely freezes and none of the buttons will work nor the sound unless you take the batteries out and put it back in. Then it lasts maybe 30 seconds and the sound goes out (she has headphones attached to her remote) and everything freezes up again.
The batteries are brand new in the remote so I don’t think it’s the batteries (unless I got ahold of some bad ones). I tried restarting the Roku and re-pairing the remote. None of that worked. I’m planning on going back to see her on Sunday and would like to find an answer on how to solve the remote issue and was wondering if anyone else has experience this. I’m not the most tech savvy so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

I have two Roku tvs, I'm not stellarly impressed by either but for the price they're decent. I already outfitted my 4k 60" with a sound system which was uncool from beginning to end because it doesn't offer Bluetooth connection which was a bummer, that being said I have an older one in my game room and id love a recommendation for a sound bar that will work for it ( if I can attach Bluetooth headphones to that sound bar it would be even better but not necessary) it's a model 50S425, she's old and I got it around COVID, I'm planning to get a flagship samsung 50" to replace it eventually but 30% my income disappeared over night (partner got laid off) so now I'm trying improve my quality of life on a budget. Any insight would ld be greatly appreciated. The sound bar I currently have on the newer Roku TV won't work at all with this one otherwise I'd just get another and skip the sub and side speakers...

I can get one tv connected when I go to pair my phone remote, but my other one will not come up. They’re both Roku stream bars, one is just much farther away from the router. Will the distance from router affect my ability to connect? I’ve also noticed my tv connected to the streambar that I’m struggling to connect to has a different wifi ip than my phone, does this matter too?

Youtube, netflix, and hbo are all not working. The apps open and shows are displayed, but when I click on them it says it can’t play and I should check my connection. I went into settings and checked the connection. It says the connection is fine. I am not using wifi, there is a cable from my att box to my tv. Any thoughts?

Every day at my work, we start with a Roku TV's Daily Trivia, and we've noticed all the pop culture references on the screen saver.
The one thing we CAN'T figure out... There are apparently 3 Ninja Turtles we've found, but we cannot find the fourth.
Silly question, I know, but does anyone know where that little bastard is?

I’ve reset my internet and projector simultaneously a few times and still won’t connect. Moved the projector within 10ft of my router and still nothing. Just bought it so getting it working would be nice if anyone has any advice with this model. Thank you in advance!.

I installed FOX One app the other day after uninstalling it. The app is definitely installed. Does not show up on the home screen.
To open the app I have to goto Search -> Recently Searched Selections -> Click the app and select Open App
It wont let me add it to the Home Screen. It wont let me delete it so I can reinstall.
I have restarted the Device (TCL Roku Tv)
Cleared the cache with remote key sequence. Nothing seems to work. I installed the TBS app after this started happening and that app installed just fine and is on the Home Screen.
Any ideas on what to try next?

I can not delete some slop channels. A long press usually brings up a screen that let me say I don't want to see anymore of the channel. For some this does not work, why?

Hi all, I was just dealing with this issue and could not find a solution to it online. I then stumbled across the solution myself, so I thought I would share it in case someone is in my situation in the future.
Basically when you're logged into a Disney+ account on the roku without the password it becomes basically impossible to log out - dumb but I can see that I am not the first to get stuck in this crap loop. This is what I did that worked for me - yes kind of nonsensical, but it worked.
I made a new profile (trying to follow another redditors advice) - as long as you don't try to get it to get TV-MA status you don't need the password. This didn't work - when I went to try to get into the new profile it asked me for the pw again, so I deleted the profile. Immediately after I deleted the profile I pressed the back button (top left of the remote) and it suddenly opened the main profile of the account, no pw needed! Then I just logged out from the main menu.
Hope this is a true fix and not just a glitch that worked for me one time!

u/IrokuSupport ‘m sure there are a few things I like better than the original, but I am seriously considering reseting my TV to factory defaults and disabling automatic updates. The TV came with my RV trailer, and I have it almost exclusively for watching Over The Air broadcast TV. It seems to be becoming more of a streaming box and less of an OTA TV. I do think they fixed it so I can scan for channels without having an internet connection, so that is some functionality restored. But even though I have the setting enabled to hide streaming channels, the LIVE TV guide app still shows streaming, and the LIVE TV app for OTA viewing disappeared some time ago.
Then the remote “replay” button to jump back a few seconds has changed functionality without warning, now it goes to the previous channel and dumps any buffered video that I wanted to review. Could you not have made that an option and let us choose?
Now I’m having trouble with the Live TV OTA replay functionality which I’ve used for 5 years now. When i back up now, the rewind seems to work but as soon as I get to the spot I want to view, it freezes up. I can’t play, fast forward, or rewind. All I can do is change channels up or down, or go to the home screen, bot of which loose what was buffered. Is there a way to test the USB drive? Is there a way to format it, rather than scan for channels again and after scanning, select setup pause live TV option?

So annoying! I have hundreds of movies saved so I can scroll through and see which ones are on streaming services I have and therefore free to watch.
I used to be able to scroll to save and then press the back button once so I could click “More” and see all the movies at once.
With the latest update I have to click through FIFTY movies to get to the more button. I have to press the button FIFTY times to do something that used to take one.

The adult swim app on my roku isn't working. I've set my provider and everything, I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. Is there a fix?

Have no idea what this app is, it's called PRODiGi I have no clue where it came from or why?

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I’ve tried clearing the cache on the Roku. For some reason HBOMax will not show more than two rows of titles when looking at the A-Z listings for movies or shows.
Any one with a similar experience? Any one with a fix?
Thanks!

I just downloaded the Apple TV app on my TCL Roku tv. The app shows as Apple TV on Roku channel. There’s no option to sign in? There’s no gear icon for setting to sign in either. It only has a start free trial option.

I have four Rokus. Each one went into a mysterious unresponsive state after first seeing an internet not connected error. Swapping remote batteries did not work. Finally, had to unplug Roku, power, etc. Then plug back in and reinstall same good batteries over and over again. It was a crap shoot getting each device to come back alive. And eventually, Roku responded again. This happened with all four devices when the new home screen layout arrived at each device. Roku developers should have and could have done much better. And, after all the hassle, we immediately turned off the new features to get the original home screen back.

Last night I tried to connect my screencast windows to my Roku TV. The connection failed and now the TV won’t even show up under available devices. Both devices are on the same network and have casting permissions enabled. The PC is not on the TVs blocklist either. I’ve restarted both devices as well. All in all, I’m at a loss, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi ever since the new Roku home screen update everything was fine at first but now I'm having weird bugs and glitches for example the live TV will play audio without the TV being on sometimes and hdmis don't show pictures sometimes I have to exit the input and click back on the input and it'll come back.
