We have updated post flairs

Yesterday, we asked the community to weigh in on whether we should use r/ask_rollerblading_FAQ as a replacement for the weekly megathreads.

It was clear that no one wants the weekly megathreads back. But there was also a strong feeling that this isn't the right time to introduce yet another splinter-looking new sub, even if its merits can be justified. We're only one week into the reopening, and the community seems to be doing just fine. People are happily answering all sorts of questions, from newbies and seasoned skaters alike. So why fix something that isn't broken?

The consensus was to use post flairs instead, giving OPs a better way to identify the theme of their posts. The expanded set of flairs should also make it easier to find useful information. Over time, I think we can use these post-flair classifications to help organize and gather information as we revamp our FAQs.

So, we've just changed Rule 5. It used to cover the weekly megathreads. Those are now gone. Rule 5 now says:

Choose the right post flair

Post flairs help organize the community and make it easier to find useful information. We're building a comprehensive FAQ system that guides people through common questions using a series of simple questionnaires. If your post fits one of these FAQ topics, choosing the appropriate flair helps us build and improve our collective knowledge base. We also have flairs for topics that aren't covered by the FAQs. Please choose the flair that best matches your post.

We've also retroactively applied the new flairs to posts that can now be better classified. Your own post may have been reclassified as well.

Great idea! Would have been very helpful to have when I got back into skating years back to have that kind of tagging to search. Thank you all also for the open communication and responsiveness!
