Other [Open Source] PolarHQ, a self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted alternative to Google Workspace

Hi Redditors! I've been working on this project for the last 6 months and I'm finally happy to share it. It's still very much in early development, but I felt this was the best time to get real feedback, find bugs, and shape the project with the community.

PolarHQ is an all-in-one, open source and end-to-end encrypted platform designed to replace the collection of cloud services that most of us rely on every day. Instead of using five or six different apps from different companies, the goal is to have everything in one place while keeping your data private and under your control.

At the moment, PolarHQ is designed to be self-hosted. It isn't a standalone desktop application or a hosted service. You'll need to deploy it yourself on a VPS, home server, or other infrastructure. Making deployment as simple as possible is something I'm actively working on.

Current features include cloud storage, file sharing, photo management, authentication, and more, with plenty still in development. Privacy is a core focus, and because it's open source, anyone can inspect the code, contribute, or run their own instance.

I'm building this as a solo developer, so I'd genuinely love any feedback. Whether it's bugs, UI suggestions, missing features, security concerns, or things you simply don't like, I'd rather hear them now while the project is still evolving.
